3pc Full/Queen Distressed Water Leaves Quilt Set Blue - Tommy Bahama: Machine Washable, Midweight Fabric, Botanical Pattern

I debated between 3 and 4 stars, because overall the quilt is very nice. The issue is the vacuum sealed packaging. If you are unlucky, as I was, to receive your quilt in the vacuum sealed plastic, it will arrive looking terrible. I almost returned the quilt immediately after opening. It was so flat and wrinked I thought it was ruined. After a wash (on gentle cycle) and tumble dry, it did bounce back.. mostly. It's still more wrinkled than what it should be, and I hope that in time that will go away. But it did improve enough to where I kept the quilt. This company needs to rethink the vacuum sealing for these qulits. It compacts them too much and honestly, I can see why someone would return after opening! It was almost as flat as a sheet! (I know it is a thinner quilt, but it looked awful.) Again, a wash and dry did help a great deal. But I am disappointed that my quilt did not arrive looking as nice as it should have. Thankfully it was on sale, as I would have been quite a bit more upset had I paid full price for it to arrive in the condition it did. All avoidable too! Packaging needs to change as it damages the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out this Tommy Bahama diamond isle green quilt! I love the color, so relaxing for a bedroom. The quality is great and is comfortably soft. It is however, a little thin and I need another blanket while sleeping.

If you don’t have a large capacity washer and/or iron and ironing board don’t order this quilt. It comes in vacuum packaging which leaves the quilt and shams severely wrinkled. I’m going to try to wash it and see if that helps but otherwise it’s going back to the store. I like the quilt otherwise, too bad that it’s ruined before you are even able to use it
