Q: How do you take the door off for cleaning? Both my wife and son load the trays on top of the door and stuff falls through onto the door? I don't use it much but I am the one who has to clean it.

A: Funny you should mention this, I noticed that too. I have a small silicone mat that I place over the door area when I remove food so the food doesn't drop into the nooks and crannies of the door.

Q: if I was to leave this on my counter (stone) in the place where I would use it--how far out from the wall and other items does it need to be? I'm assuming there is a vent and heat being emitted.

A: You can easily make toast in an air fryer by placing slices of bread in a single layer and cooking them at 400°F for about 3-5 minutes, flipping halfway for even toasting.

Works fine but such a mess to clean, drips oil.
Our previous air fryer was a gourmia with a basket that you pull out, we really liked it. I picked this because it was Gourmia and bigger, we don’t like it. Instead of mesh, the trays are wire, hard to clean and really mess up our heavy duty sponge. And it drips so much oil. No matter how much we clean it, oil drips from the bottom and the crevices in the door catches crumbs and is hard to clean. Otherwise it works fine, but the mess is a dealbreaker. Will use for now and replace as soon as possible.

At first it was a pretty good buy for the price. Unfortunately after having it for a year, you get what you paid for. The touch screen stopped working. Half the screen was not functioning, upon inspection the mother board came loose from the bracket with the screws coming off. I do not recommend very cheaply done.

Really Disappointing lasted less then a year
bought it and it lasted only 11 months! Won’t turn on but acts like it will but doesn’t! Also door cracked within 3 days of purchase! It was nice and we used it a lot multiple times a day. The last month it started over heating and smoking. i don’t think any of this should happen to something in less then a year! Very disappointed

Nice air fryer, with many other uses..but only lasted 2 years
So, I just purchased my 2nd one. I bought the 1st one (this same unit) a smidge over 2 years ago. The 1st one unfortunately like overheated, burnt the food, turned itself off, and never came back to life (even after days of being unplugged & cooled). Really wish they would last longer, because it's a great unit...they just don't make things to last anymore. Large enough to cook a full meal for my household of 6, plus rotisserie, dehydrate, bake, etc etc. Easy to clean, too!
