First, the instructions and drawings are unclear as to whether this item goes inside or outside the bag. Also, don't understand the purpose of this attachment. Even with it attached inside the bag, liquid can still get sucked into the vacuum pump if not careful.

These bags are easy to use and quite effective for maybe 10-20 vacuum cycles. They lose efficacy after that, and the plastic zipper ridges are somewhat delicate and can rip while opening if you're not particularly careful. Sometimes, the seal fails after weeks in the freezer, so we've learned to keep an eye on the freezer stock and to keep the pump handy. They extend the life of cheese particularly well, and keep freezer burn to a minimum as long as they keep the seal.

While I really appreciate the strength and versatility of these bags. I would prefer if they had a tab that made them easier to open. When they are sealed they work but when it’s time to open them it’s much too difficult and could destroy the bag.

love the simplicity of the Zwilling system and bags. Bags remaining vacuum sealed in the freezer to protect food is not acceptable. I have yet to package any food (not liquid) that has remained vac-packed after a week in the freezer. I'm open to suggestions

We recommend the bags closure must be dry, then fold the bags closure over the outside of the bag, when placing the food inside the Bag. Zip the bag closed, check the seal by applying light pressure along the sealed edge with your fingers. Your satisfaction is our highest priority, and we stand behind the quality of our products. You can get more uses out of a disposable zipper bag. They should be marketed as single use. Thought it might have been a one off but so far every bag gets a hole after the first use and two bags so far the black zipper portion just rips off the plastic when you open it.... Save your money... Honestly though the plastic used in disposable freezer bags is more durable than these.

It is a great idea, it simple and works fantastic. I love it. However when you want to do moist items you can't get full vacuum. Dry items are no problem, it is just perfect. I wish they come up with another idea to bag moist items.

The medium bags hold quite a bit more than I expected. I use them to keep frozen prepped food, and I tend toward smaller quantities. I thought I'd have to get larger bags but these are great for bulkier food.

I am very disappointed with the quality of these bags. Most of them came broken from the black round part where you put the vacuum sealer. As a result, air comes inside the bag. I would not recommend this product.

I was given the sealer set to include sealer, bowls and bags I found it to be small but so useful I purchased 3 for Christmas gifts. I showed mine to my brother who then went home and ordered one for himself. He used his and purchased several for his family for Christmas gifts the following year.
