Q: is it possible for a dog to get batteries out on their own ? Batteries will kill a dog if chewed or swallowed.

  • A: The battery is screwed into a compartment in the plastic heart and the heart fits into a velcro pouch under the stuffed dog. I had trouble getting the velcro open when it was propertly sealed.

A must for puppies, especially when crate training!

Love this toy for our pups! We had our first for our Rhodesian ridgeback pup two years ago and she loved it. She doesn’t snuggle it anymore but still plays with it! We just purchased a second for our new puppy, and as soon as we put it into her crate at night, she settles. Sometimes we hear her wrestling with it but she isn’t whining and crying in the crate. The Velcro seems super strong and the battery lasts a long time in the little heart inside. We didn’t find the warming packs necessary but were happy to have them in case. I love that they come in different colors - we got colors that match our puppies.

Not very strong

This puppy is very cute and my 11 week old springer loves to cuddle with it. The 'heartbeat' sounds very tinny to me, but he seems to be okay with it. We've had the puppy 23 days and already the nose on this is ripped and stuffing is coming out. I would have expected a bit higher quality for something designed for puppies knowing they have sharp teeth.

Dogs best friend

My puppy got sooo excited when I gave this to him. The heated part works fine I’m sure but I never really used it. The heartbeat was fine, it’s something you have to change the batteries on. And the heat pack only lasts one time. And you have to purchase replacement packs in order for it to be warm for your pup. I don’t know if it’s just my dog really loves stuffed toys that look like dogs, but he loves this stuffy so much. I would not typically spend this much on an item for my dog but I’m glad I did.

Just Buy It

I have zero idea why this needs to be $40, but I caved after 5 days with no sleep and wish I didn't mock the price sooner. Our puppy does great with her crate in the evening, putting him back in the crate after he goes outside at 1 am, he wouldn't stop crying.. NOT A PEEP. Buy this or invest in under eye cream and a coffee gift card.

Amazing product

This product is amazing! We have a 2 month old Frenchie puppy who has extreme separation anxiety when left in the crate alone at night and during the day. Within seconds, he’s usually crying out for us, but tonight he has not made a peep. It’s comforting to know there’s a product that can help with his anxiety at night so he doesn’t feel alone. Lifesaver!!!

Puppy's New Best Friend

So far so good, my 9 week old puppy loves it. Was dealing with a lot of anxiety crying when I stopped co-sleeping with her but just night 2 with her doll and curls right up with it and falls asleep, immediately. I do wish the pack came with 3 heat packs instead of 1 but I can buy a bulk set on Amazon I guess.

We bought this for our newly adopted 10 week old puppy. He loved it almost immediately.
