Kwikset 955 SmartCode™ Electronic Pembroke Door Lever and Lock

The set screw was located on the top and not the bottom as instructions stated. With that being said - you cannot attach the handle as the set screw and hole didn't align so now I have to return for a refund.

I bought this for a lockable door and im honestly confused and feel scammed yall provided allen key but the screw requires a torx screw almost had a heart attack putting. Together it was making me so mad

It was an amazing product until there was multiple parts that werent even in the instructions how yall gonna give me an allen key but it needs torx screw other than that it was decent

It was a simple install and works great. The lock seems pretty sturdy.

Bought 3 of these for convenience . Ig you have a storm door the exterior lever sticks out so far you have trouble closing and engaging the dead bolt. There does not seem to be an option to replace the outside lever with a knob. This would solve the problem. As it is I have 3 of these that are a pain because of the pressure you must use to get the door closed to engage the dead bolt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lock that is super easy to install even for someone who isn't super good with stuff like this. The instructions were easy. When the battery runs low, it beeps and flashes to alert you of the low battery. It also comes with a key in case the battery dies. You don't have to reset all the codes after it dies as the key codes are still remembered. Another great thing is you can have up to 30 different codes. It auto locks when the door is shut which I really like and saves me from having to remember if I locked the door. The only thing is I wish it had is an app to open it via phone. But otherwise, I am really happy with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Kwikset - 955 SmartCode Electronic Pembroke Lever to replace a previous smart lock that used 8 batteries, that drained quickly and was no longer economical. I don’t regret the switch the kwikset lock uses 1 battery, allows me to have manny access codes and basically keeps me locked in!

It is a little tricky getting you code activated to the device, it took me a couple tries but easily figured it out. Nice design

Commercial Grade touchpad electronic deadbolt lever is a 1-touch locking motorized deadbolt. It will only allow someone in with a personal code. The backlight makes it easy to see, even at night. Hubby said it was easy to install and set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have found that Kwikset is the main brand that we use for our doors inside and outside. We like the features of reverse lever, keypad that can be used or not used, the stay lock or unlock, the multiple codes one can use, and the key entry. We needed one for the garage since sometimes we lock it and forget to bring a key out with us. The installation process is not hard. I think entering the codes were harder. Changing the battery may be a little challenging but we will wait and see. We will see how it holds up through the winter. Our others kwiksets have had issues if it was really cold. Customer service was very helpful and addressed our issues with our other kwikset. We like to style and finish and how well it works.

This lock is better then the everyday lock because it makes me feel more secure knowing that my home is being protected by using the numeric keypad. The lock is a nice silver color. It is very sturdy and was easy to install.
