The bags are designed for yard waste and offer a convenient drawstring feature, making them easy to close and transport. Many guests appreciate their size and capacity, noting they can hold a significant amount of waste. However, there are concerns about durability, as several guests report tearing and weak drawstrings. Overall, they provide a good value for regular use, but guests suggest caution with heavier materials.

Avoid Buying these WEAK so-called "Extra Strong" Bags

HOW are people giving these bags 5 stars? If they are supposed to be "extra strong" for yard waste- I would HATE to see what the regular bags are. They are thin and tear with contact from nearly any material... plant stalks, snags while filling them, AND the drawstrings are weak. If I wanted to endure taking these back to Target I FOR SURE would, but I will just suffer through them and buy something different in the future.

    Can't beat this brand!

Target's up&up 39 gallon trash bags are tough and reliable. While I can find other brands in the 39 gallon my garbage can requires, they are easily torn, and they are all flap tie; only Target's brand has a drawstring to hold it in place, which is not only convenient, it also forms a scent seal that keeps the raccoons out of my garbage can. Excellent product!

No. Just no. Buy the namebrand.

Pay extra for the namebrand. These are AWFUL. Rips on the drawstring, rips along the seam, rips in the bottom just rips everywhere and there is absolutely NOT durable technology happening. 0.

    Scented Lawn Bags are Pointless

Why would a lawn and leaf bag need to be scented?! I have to throw this out. The chemicals used to make a lawn and leaf bag smell, what, fresh?! trigger asthma and skin irritation for me.

Bags are not at all heavy duty, tare open easily

In short, they are NOT at all heavy duty, very weak, tear easily. Put leaves in the bag, not over full, and the bag ripped open where I was holding it. Had to double bag and lift the bag from the bottom. Upon closing the bag up, the top tears open... Don't waste your time and money...

Rips EASILY - no matter whats in them !

The weakest bags I’ve ever laid hands on. As soon as you go to pick the bag up it rips ! In more than one place. I wouldn’t recommend these at all ! If I could leave zero stars I would. These bags makes more unnecessary work ! I haven’t used one that hasn’t immediately ripped!
