    Loved It Once It Was Done

    This is a very cool truck and I, like others, loved putting together the moving mechanisms. Gears = super cool. My son is four so I basically assembled the entire thing, which I usually love to do. I was not familiar with the Technic series and did not realize that these pieces are 95% NOT bricks, but rather pipes and connectors. It's fine for a while but gets very tedious because they do not fit together easily like the bricks do. You almost have to squeeze the connectors a bit to get them to fit inside the pipes, which tends to make your hands sore after a while. Overall, the finished product is very entertaining for my son to play with due to the grab and dump mechanism, but the build experience was frustrating.

    Electric Garbage Truck

    I bought this for my grandson for Christmas so he hasn't built it yet. The pictures on the back look great and it actually lifts the rubbish bin. My grandson hasn't built one like this before so I am sure he will love it. I can't wait to see it built

    Highly recommended, some problems though

    This is a wonderful build, worth the money. Beware of the skinny smooth piece (piece 243101 that is used in step 151) next to the grabber arm. The arm tends to get off center and pop it off when raised... I had to change the piece used in step 100... ended up replacing pieces 4211862+6013938 with a spare 6271165. That fixed it.
