Success so far using this brand
I switched to Crest Cavity from Colgate. The first thing I noticed was pieces of tartar breaking off while I brushed. Plus, every other toothpaste brand including the tooth sensitive ones cause tooth pain in one of my more sensitive teeth that has root absorption. I don't know if there's a common ingredient in them that coukd cause this. So far, so good using this Crest Cavity. Fingers crossed.

I agree with other reviewers, please bring back the original. I have a horrible toothpaste allergy and this was the only toothpaste I could use. You've changed the formula and now my mouth cracks and bleeds when I use it. I've been desperately trying to find a replacement and have spent over $100 on other brands trying to find one. My mouth is in so much pain, now I dread brushing my teeth. Why do brands do this? There's a million different variations, is it that terrible to have a basic paste without all of the "extra artic blast mint plus pro" nonsense?

I used my last tube, I have not been able to find it at the store, actually four different stores.. Have they discontinued this exact toothpaste? I dont like plus (mouthwash); only option of basic toothpaste now.
Had to buy this toothpaste because Crest ended the original toothpaste without plus. I do not like having mouthwash in my toothpaste! Mouthwash kills good bacteria. This toothpaste is mintier than the original and kind of burns a little (like mouthwash). This toothpaste gets the job done. Bring back the original toothpaste without plus.

What an underrated toothpaste. This is one of the best and most basic toothpaste ever but wow. The minty flavor is not too intense that it burns like some others. Freshness lasts for hours. Actually brightens my teeth too. Personally this toothpaste is much better than those expensive whitening toothpaste that actually weaken your tooth enamel. Buy this you won’t be disappointed.

Can't believe I'm reviewing toothpaste
A tube of water. I thought maybe it needed mixing so I capped it, tried kneading the tube a bit — the end seam split and shot toothpaste-water all over the floor. Maybe it’s just a quality-control issue but it seems like an infuriating form of shrinkflation. Fellas, this is not going to be a “new normal” situation- if I have to get used to something new, I might as well switch to one of the all natural brands or go full hippie & brush my teeth w homemade baking soda -peroxide paste. I guess I should be thanking proctor & gamble, huh? These companies are not entitled to our money. We still have choices, even if they all seem pretty crappy. Jeezy creezy.

Stop changing things already
I too get extremely tired of the products I use changing. As one reviewer says, from emailing the company she found that crest cavity protection plus is the same as the crest cavity protection. But I had to come to this site to find out and this is not the first place I looked for the answer. Please just leave well enough alone and stop wasting our time.

Cavity Paste-Good/Cavity Paste Plus-Disgusting
I used to use Pro-Health Whitening, tasted great, but according to some responses by Crest on this website they added an "Amino Acid Technology" to make the stannous fluoride or something more effective and the flavor is now disgusting. Because of this I switched to Crest Cavity Protection Regular Paste, same thing I grew up with and tasted great, now I can't find it in stores but there is a Crest Cavity Protection Paste Plus and now it tastes like crap. Was the amino acid that was added to the Pro-Health Whitening added to the Cavity Protection Paste?
