It fits perfectly on the back of the door. It is very sturdy and holds the towels well. Beautiful finish that looks very stylish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rack is what my family needed. I will say that I love that no tools are utilized to put the rack together. With that said, I had difficulty with one of the rods during the construction process. Once put together, the piece really is solid. I found the hooks to hang the rack over the door to be a little thick. There are two holes in each hook. I am assuming you can attach it to the door with screws if you would like. However, these screws are not included in the kit. I first attempted to hang this over the closet door in the bathroom. I was unable to close the door. If your door does not have a gap at the top you will not be able to use this over the door towel rack. I was able to hang it over the entrance door to the bathroom door. The rack allows me to hang three towels easily. The rack felt extremely durable and is very pleasing to the eye. The finials are very nice on the end of each rack as well. If you are in the market for a product similar to this one. I would recommend this one as long as you have a visible gap above your door between the door frame.

Our master bathroom does not have anywhere to hang a towel bar on the wall, so typically we just have thrown our towels over the glass shower....which was ugly and looked messy. Now we have this towel rack we can hang on the closet door beside the shower to nicely store our towels within reach! It seems sturdy and was easy to put together.
