Skin feels and looks great, product smells awful

I love andalou and exclusively use their products on my face so when I was looking to add a serum to my routine, there was no question which brand I would go with. The serum leaves my skin looking great BUT the smell is hard to get past. It smells like dog bowl water mixed with dirty socks, or clothes that sat in a washer for too long. I've used the 1000 roses cleansing foam, toner, body wash, body lotion, eye gel, and day and night time moisturizers and this product does NOT smell like any of those. I'm not sure where the issue is but I'm hoping this was just a bad batch.

Can't live without this stuff

As a woman in late 20s, skincare is a MUST for wrinkle prevention. This stuff keeps my skin supple without feeling greasy all day, and my husband even loves it too! He said that he's gotten many compliments from his office teammates on his complexion since using! My holy grail!!!

Smells Awful

This product smells terrible and has the viscosity of water. It’s so runny that it’s almost impossible to apply it quickly enough. Since using it I haven’t experienced any benefits. Would not purchase again.

I love it!

I feel my skin is getting even healthier and looks more smooth. I use it am & pm, sometimes alone. It doesn't flake or get gritty when used under my other products. I really love it and it smells great too!

a miss for me

I like the way this feels when applying. I didn't see any change in my skin. If anything, the emollient sheen seemed to bring out textures in my skin Also the smell isn't strong, but it is uniquely unpleasant. Not like roses. It's like a stinky animal musk.

Amazing

I absolutely LOVE this product. It’s not for dry sensitive skin types. It’s for oily sensitive skin!! I’m so happy to have found this product! It gives my skin the hydration and support it needs without clogging my pores!!! My skin and complexion have NEVER felt so smooth and looked so good!! It is for OILY or combination sensitive skin types! I only wish it was in a spray bottle or pump!

Fresh and Dewy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using 1000 Roses Absolute Serum. The first product in decades that actually made my skin look good. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t buy it anymore. So, I bought the Fresh and Dewy serum. I actually was thinking of writing to ask if my Fresh and Dewy serum could be bad. It smells more like vinegar than roses. The Fresh and Dewy serum doesn’t seem to be doing the same for my skin as the Absolute Serum. I would definitely buy Absolute Serum again but I will not be purchasing Fresh and Dewy again.

watery, meh

I have loved some of the 1000 roses creams in the past and gave this a shot. It’s super watery and just feels like you’re putting nothing on your skin. I’ll be returning.

Andalou is a wonderful product!!!

I absolutely love every item I have used in the Andalou line. My skin tone and texture has improved greatly. I have tried so many other products with great hopes, none of them have worked. Too thin to apply well

Hard to use. It is just too runny for me. I have tried simply dropping it on my face...but even then it is simply not viscous enough and I have to go section by section to apply. Scent is nice and light.
