  • A: Not sure but TOO MUCH. The inner holder is HUGE compared to the online ordered brand I have been using. I am interested to compare it to Reel the other brand Target stocks. My review should post as I took photos. I would definitely not recommend this company as the rolls are tiny and the holder is HUGE so the cost per wipe no matter if you use less or not is too high. Pick a different brand.

Q: Is this product organic and does it contain formaldehyde?

  • A: Hey there! Our products are not certified organic. Though, there is a unique property of bamboo called "bamboo kun" that protects the plant from microbes and insects. This means pesticides are not needed to grow and harvest bamboo. As you may know formaldehyde is a common additive in tree based toilet paper production to create a thicker and stronger sheet of paper. Bim Bam Boo does not use formaldehyde during the paper making process because of the softer and stronger fibers of bamboo.   • A: Hey there, thanks for this great question! On this spectrum we would say that Bim Bam Boo toilet paper falls closer to “ultra strong”. This is one of the greatest benefits of making TP with bamboo because it is naturally ultra strong. To keep our TP as healthy for your body as possible, we do not add chemical softeners (like the formaldehyde and bleach you get in other big TP brands), so what you get is the natural, velvety softness that comes from using bamboo.

2ply separates

this reminds me of the cheap portapotty type, thin and not quality for price. We tried multiple clean toilet papers and couple bamboo ones, the other bamboo is great, this for the price just isn't worth it. new roll just opened and the 2 ply isn't lined up so it separates as you unroll.... super disappointing.

Thin but soft

It was fine but like the Reel one better. This one is considerably thinner and runs out faster because you have to use more. It doesn’t fall apart though and is soft, but I think other brands might have better quality.

The product itself is fine, but the way Target packaged and shipped it was unacceptable. There was no outer box for protection, and the rolls arrived dirty. Who would want to use something in that condition? This definitely needs improvement.

New design is not soft or absorbent

Please bring back the old design!!!! I have been buying this for years and I have bought so many boxes. I would stock up six boxes at a time. It used to be the softest and best ever with the dot pattern, and the new design of pandas is so scratchy and not absorbent at all. I had to go back to purchasing who gives a crap toilet paper brand. If the company ever switches back to the dot style, please let me know so that I can go back to purchasing.

Horrible New Quality

yet another product change for the worse. new texture/material is even rougher than their facial tissue. Haven't even been through one roll and I feel like I have a yeast infection 🫣 very irritating! The packaging itself was very sloppy as well. Been buying this TP for over 2 years. Will be finding a different option.

Great chemical-free TP option

I was pleasantly surprised to liking this TP! I wanted to make the switch to chemical free, PFAS-free and didn’t know much about brands. Didn’t even know Target had this as I thought I would have to order a brand online. While the TP looks slightly transparent & looks like it’s going to be thin low-quality, it’s actually pretty sturdy and does the job! I was also nervous that it may be rough but it was actually soft enough for me. I also like that they’re individually wrapped because we have a small cabinet so I have to take them out of box so I appreciate that I can store them without anything in my cabinet directly touching rolls. I definitely prefer them to traditional TP brands now! I would highly recommend trying them for yourself to see if they are a fit for your bum ;)

It changed! Not good anymore!

I have bought this TP for a long time and really loved it. I don’t know what happened, but it has completely changed! The texture, thickness and comfort qualities have all gone down and I will likely never buy it again. I’m extremely disappointed because I loved the sustainability and quality of this TP and they have lost a loyal customer.
