I bought this hoping it would be good but not kill one weed. Resprayed after 24 hours still did not kill any weeds. Weather was 80 and no rain. Disposed of product and used Spectracide that worked.

I bought this VERY EXPENSIVE SOLUTION, after 3 hours NOTHING! Then 24 hours I started seeing some shrinkage, then it started turning brown. Not sure if I would buy it again due to the fact of it being so expensive.. SORRY I DID NOT TAKE PICTURES

We're sorry to hear that you feel this way, as we'd expect you to get the best possible results when using Spruce. If you haven't already, make sure you're spraying all visible parts of the weeds, including stems and leaves, to the point where they're thoroughly wet. I got this last week and used it yesterday. Sunny and 80°. It didn’t kill any of the weeds in my mulch beds. None! Not sure what to do with the 2nd bottle. Back to 45% vinegar.

The best thing is that it works while I have the peace of mind that it is safe to use around my child and our pets. Doesn’t get much better than that!

The attached wand was long so I didn’t have to come close to the spray. All I did was drench the weeds in spray and within a few hours I noticed a difference, the weeds were visibly drying out.

This did kill weeds in direct sunlight, but does next to nothing for weeds in shady areas. You’d be better off using white vinegar to kill weeds in sunny areas - you’d get the same result for A LOT less money. Also, it doesn’t prevent future weeds in the same spot, thus causing you to buy more of this very expensive product to use over and over again in the same spots. I appreciate that companies are trying to produce safer products to kill weeds, but the marginal effectiveness and the cost make this a “not buying again” product.

Not too heavy and the sprayer works great. Works best when it’s warm outside and sunny. Worth the price.

The sprayer is allows for wide or aimed streams based on the angle you hold it. I read the directions and sprayed the whole plant and root, but it didn’t kill the weeds like I expected it to. The spots that I sprayed turned the weeds brown, but did not kill them completely. It’s.

I just got a gallon last week because I wanted to give it a try. I’m glad I did. I have never had a weed killer that actually did what is promised on the label. No i did not go out in a a hour to see its effects but I did go out to take a look the next day and yes a lot of the weeds were dead. I did have a few weeds that needed a bit more killer but in all fairness I have never experienced a weed killer working so quickly (never). In my experience you folks have a GREAT product. I have already bought one of your refill bottles for the next round of weeds.

But by the next morning, I could already see the weeds starting to die, and within 24 hours everything—weed and surrounding grass—was completely dead. It definitely works, just give it a little time! Great for spot treatments, but be careful where you spray—it takes out everything in its path.

The handle was a little hard to squeeze, but I still prefer it over the products where you have to manually squeeze. I used about a third of the bottle for one application. Unlike other similar products I have used, this one requires more than one application. The initial application only made some of the seeds brown.

It has an aromatic, almost herbal smell and not like those harsh chemical ones. Plus it was super easy to use and the sprayer is awesome! You just snap on the sprayer and go. No mixing, no fuss. My husband was skeptical, so he did a side-by-side test and left some weeds untouched and Spruce totally works! The weeds started wilting within a few hours and in 24 hours they were dead and brown. I also really appreciate that it’s non-toxic and safe to use around people and pets. With our dog running around, that’s a big deal for us. Bottom line: it’s effective, smells nice, and we feel good about using it. Definitely a win for us!
