Whirlpool WML55011HS 1.1 Cu. Ft. Stainless Over-the-Range Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just recently bought this model when our old Whirlpool gave up the ghost after 18-years! Which is also one of the reasons I bought Whirlpool again. Very happy with the smaller size since you really only reheat things in a microwave, not cook meals. Allows more room above the cooktop for taller pots. It has all the features you need to do everything a large microwave does, timed cooking, making popcorn, etc. And it has a powerful exhaust fan to get rid of cooking odors from the microwave or the stove and oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 15 year old microwave in my new townhouse. I Had a low profile unit in my old house that I loved using. I am over 6ft tall and this low profile unit allows me more free space over the stovetop when cooking. Also I like that this new unit has been updated to LED lights instead of the light bulb(s) in the older unit.

I love that it is high off the stove so using large pots, the steam does not interfere with the microwave. Wished I would've gotten this sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give a 5 but the light just covers the middle of my cooktop. It operates well but is not tall enough for all my measuring cups or bowls. I do love this unit and have adjusted from the large counter top one. No regrets for replacing and it fits perfectly over my cooktop!

I wasn't sure I'd want the hidden keypad at first, but it works well and you can always hit the start key for an extra 30s. Installation wasn't too bad, but with Ikea cabinets it needed a spacer behind so the top vents would be clear (you even need this if it's not on recirc mode). Not a huge deal, but definitely a consideration. Ikea uppers are 15" deep, which is deeper than your avg cabinet. I do wish it could be flush with the cabinets, but none of the microhoods I saw are like that. You'd have to get a builtin or drawer microwave if flush is your goal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door hangs down, it’s not straight, but is loose enough that I can manually push it up.The left side panel is not flush like it should be, wider on top than on the bottom and very apparent. I have pictures of this if you can direct me how to send them, it is not allowing me to do it below
