I bought to store kibble that comes in 32lb bags—the container barely holds 20lbs. But turns out I like the concept so kept it and have found storage for the remainder of food until I need it. Ridiculous considering the price though.

I liked the look of this plus the security of it for a dog who likes to break into the food bin. BUT! I sent it back! This container does not allow you to place a bag of dog food into it - you can only pour the food in…meaning you have to wash the container after the food runs out. My vet says to not put dog food directly into a plastic bin and to keep the food in the original bag with the top cut off. This container does not allow for that.

This is genuinely a well-designed, thoughtful product. It’s sleek, sturdy, and has all the smart details you’d hope for -the scoop, the removable inner bin, and the wheels that make it easy to move around. Overall, it feels premium and works exactly as intended. My only hesitation is the price point, which is a little high.

Exceptionally made. Some might think the handle and sealing mechanism is complicated, but it completely makes sense after a day of using it. When you grab the handle, you want the handle to be secure when you grab it and at the same time, you don’t want the seal accidentally open. simplehuman figured out a simple way to resolve this. Well done!

Love the look and the handle to keep the good air tight. Bought 2 for side to side cleanup. Looks amazing in the mud room. Get lots of compliments on how organized I look.

I love the look, ease of operation, and secure seal of this dog food storage. With 5 rescue dogs, I need a large container that is not toxic! Plus my big dogs figured out how to open the others I had tried. This one is high quality and worth the cost.

Wonderful. The lid seal is awesome the latch is built into the handle and the capacity works perfect for us.

We have been using plastic bins from Lowes (food grade), but these look so much nicer, hold more food, and open a lot easier. I am a huge fan of Simplehuman and I know that they back up their products. Very happy with this purchase.

Great and fits perfectly in my space

This is my second one. The first one is still in good shape but it was the biggest. I only have one dog now so I got the smaller size. I also purchased one for my son for his dog. They are the best containers and last forever. Many years ago, Simplehuman had containers made just like this but much smaller (canister size) for sugar, flour, etc. They are the best for my flour, sugar, brown sugar, powder sugar. I would say that I had them for over 25 years. I still have them and they are in good shape too. I wish Simplehuman would make again. I would love to see them made in the white.

Everything SH makes is worth its weight in gold. It always takes me a little longer to pull the trigger because of the price and I don’t know why because it’s always worth it. Little touches, ideal form follows function, and looks great in my kitchen to boot. Now my garbage bins and pet food bin all match and add some polish to my kitchen. Note re: sizing - my dog eats Taste of the Wild and their biggest bag fits in the Large bin with room to spare. I assumed I’d need the XL. Worth keeping in mind if you’re debating size.

I am very happy with this purchase. It is incredibly easy to use. The scoop is stored inside on the lid and makes it very convenient for measuring and scooping my pup's food out. If you are wondering if this is worth the price tag, I would say yes it it!

They got it right the second time, the first time I ordered a silver one they sent me a white one, I re-ordered the silver one and they got it right. The second time customer support was good. They helped me no complaints there after reading the reviews, they were complaining about dents and also the scoop handle magnet was a little difficult to pull off. Well evidently that's all been corrected. The delivery came double boxed. It was packaged very, very good. You'd probably have to drop it off at two-story building for it to be damaged so they got that fixed they got the magnet issue fixed on the scoop handle thing cause people were saying it was a little difficult to pull off the magnet because the magnet was too strong. Oh no I'm very pleased for the second time around despite the errors and mixed up. I should give them for a 4 star, but I'm happy so I'm gonna give them five stars cause they fixed it and customer support gave me a $22 gift certificate for the mess up which I applied to the new correct order. So basically I got what I want and I'm happy at the end of the day.

Pros: Looks great and matches our Simple Human SS garbage canister. CONS: Quality of the Wheels is horrible and the handle which is also used to open it is not user friendly. Value: not so great. At this price point, I would expect better wheels and the method to open it should not be integrated in the handle.
