  • Adjustable Canopy: You can adjust the height of the extension arm on the telescopic rod by loosening the locking screw, which can provide you with better shade, and the height of the retractable door canopy ends can also be adjusted.
  • Lower Heat Levels: The deck awning is made of 280g polyester and PU coating fabric, protects your exterior from the sun's damaging UV rays, and effectively reduces the heat inside your home, all while possibly lowering your cooling bill.
  • Variety of Surfaces: Our window awning can be attached to various surfaces such as concrete or solid brick wall, on any door, balcony patio, or window.
  • Canopy Dimensions: Shaded Area: 120 ft². (You must measure up the wall to where you'd like the awning – at least 8.2- 11.5 ft. If you plan to mount the cover above a door wall or window, add 11.75". Note: Large amounts of rain can collect on the fabric and cause damage, so please take it back on a rainy day). NOTE: The surface you put it on must be able to support at least 55 lbs.

Q: What are the dimensions of the frame section that is inserted into the brackets? I have an existing awning with brackets that accept a 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" frame. Thx.

  • A: This awning comes with its own brackets and is not compatible with existing brackets that accept a 1.5" x 1.5" frame. If you need a hassle-free setup, using the included brackets is recommended.

Q: Can you take off the brackets on wall and store this in the winter time?

If you wish to remove them for winter storage, you would need to unscrew the previously installed screws. However, please note that repeatedly installing and removing the screws may cause the screw holes to become larger, which could lead to the screws not fitting properly during reinstallation.

I bought 4 of these. They were difficult to get together and the screws didn't fit or holes were drilled slightly off on the two I opened. One was clearly retaped and scratched inside. The other one was missing pieces. Last two I didn't even open.

Well designed awning

This 12' x 10' manually retractable awning was a pleasure to assemble. I admit that the instructions, presumably translated from Mandarin, could have been more clear, but I was still very pleased with the end result. It's an excellent awning at a bargain price.

Patio Awning

I received my Outsunny awning in a short time. I installed it my self with alittle help when needed. The instruction could have been just a little better but for the price i fought threw the mistakes i made while putting it together. Works fine so far and looks great.

wrong size

didn't realize we needed to put it all together although instructions made it very easy. ordered 12x10 to replace my old awning and the size is smaller than it says by 4. 8nches which means more holes in my house to put up brackets that will hold it on the house....

Beautiful/High quality !

I purchased a green one for a friend. We had our handyman install. I rated the product 4 stars instead of 5 because the directions are horrible.. Overall the awning is awesome. I highly recommend..

Canopy

Reviews said the directions were very hard to read, but I had no problem figuring this thing out. Mostly by looking at the pictures and having a little common sense. Took about 3 hrs to put together and install by myself. Only needed the wife to help me put it in the wall brackets. So far so good. Worth the money.

Pretty easy to put together

Just got this up yesterday. It went together pretty easily. The instructions weren't bad, but could definitely be a bit more helpful. The bigger issue is figuring out the adjustment of the arms and the pitch and getting it to close properly once you have it all up. That took the longest. But overall I'm very happy and hope to have it for many years to come.

Have been using this Outsunny Patio Awning for several years now, and I love it! I have given it the test of time, and it has passed my expectations; although it was built to last and made from quality material.
