Q: How does one tell if the battery is dying in this clock?
A: Hi Marlene - Thank you for the inquiry. A clock's battery is likely dying if the clock is losing time, the second hand (if present) is moving in a jerky or jumping manner. Hope this helps! - Kris

Q: How can I remove the back to change the battery? We can’t figure that out.
A: Hi - Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in Brass Analog Circular Pedestal Table Clock. To change the battery in a circular pedestal table clock, you'll generally need to access the back of the clock. Look for a seam or a small opening, and gently pry it open using a flathead screwdriver or similar tool. The battery compartment will be inside. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, paying attention to the polarity markings (+/-) inside the compartment. Then, carefully reattach the back cover. I hope this helps - Emma
