Description

Maximize comfort and cool with the Targus® 18" Dual Fan Chill Mat® with Adjustable Stand. Powered by your laptop, plug the Chill Mat into a USB-A port with the included tuckaway cable and two built-in, 1,900 RPM fans will begin to disperse heat, keeping you and your laptop cool. With 3 adjustable height positions, this Chill Mat places your laptop at a comfortable viewing angle to help reduce glare, as well as reduce neck and eye fatigue usually caused by bad working posture or improper ergonomics. Non-skid pads on its top keep your laptop (up to 18") in place, while its soft padded air mesh base provides cushioned comfort for your lap. The open design allows the fans to run quietly, stimulating constant airflow and helps to prevent overheating, thus helping your laptop run at peak performance.

Not quite as anticipated.

Quality looking laptop chill mad, very comfortable and keeps laptop in place without the annoying plastic knibs most have that break off. Cons: charging cord is connected inside so you cannot just replace the USB cable if it has issues. No additional USB ports on cooling mat spno accessories can be connected via mat. Item title says 18 inch cooling pad so if you are just looking quickly like I was you will be unaware its not even 16 inches wide making item name a bit deceiving as I thought it would be and wanted it to be 18 inches wide. Neutral: product us quite thick and I will habe to see how comfortable it is on the wrists when gaming with mat and laptop resting on my lap.

You need to get with the times

it is comfortable on my lap and on my workstation and does the job. my laptop is performing bettwe however, Targus needs to get with the times and update their cord to a USB-C. There is no reason to still be putting out products with regular USBs, therefore making me buy a USB-C adaptor.

Worth every penny!

I bought a gaming laptop a couple months ago and wanted something for my lap while I was on the couch. Not only is this thing comfortable but I couldn’t believe how well it cooled my laptop even during long gaming sessions. Huge difference! 10/10 product!

Great

It is raised off the desk so that I am not hurting my back and it cools the laptop off so that it doesn't get hot. Works great and plugs in easily to the laptop.

Dual Fan w/ Chill Mat

Dual Fan and Chill Mat is just what I needed. I am on my laptop a lot and it use to get too hot and I was worrying it was going to make it go down. This adjustable stand work great for me, make it feel natural to work on. I love this product and I highly recommend it to anyone looking at this to buy.

Great cooling mat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooling mat was really nice. It folds down flat and can easily be popped up to use. My laptop sat nicely and easily on top. When the laptop isnt on top the fan can be heard but as soon as the laptop is placed on it it is so quiet I forget it's on. It was simple to plug in and use. The only problem I found was that i wished the stand secured and held in place. It easily plopped apart.
