This shave product is absolutely wonderful. It has all clean ingredients and nothing harmful. It gives a wonderful smooth shave and rinse is clean from your face. I've used many different shave creams in every price range this by far is the best shave at an extremely fair price. M Montana

I purchased the unscented and the peppermint. I was a little hesitant when I read reviews that said it didn’t lather properly, but I had absolutely no issue with the lather and actually really liked it. I take one star off of my review because of the bottle situation. The shaving soap leaks around the seal and creates a small mess in the shower, which is frustrating. I really wish they would turn it into a pump or would put the pour on the top of the bottle. Other than that, I highly recommend! I also do not itch with these shaving soaps, like I do with regular shaving cream.

I am grateful for this product since most all others I am allergic to. It provides slick and foamy shave soap that makes shaving nice and easy.

Just the organic shaving option i was looking for. It’s organic, it cleanses the skin, it’s non drying, a little goes a long way. Regular shaving cream is way too thick for me and often has ingredients I can’t pronounce or includes dyes. The one thing I will mention that was a surprise to me first time trying this is that the consistency is super liquid so i bought a cheap soap pump for the shower and it’s perfect for when i need to pump rather than lose product because of the tube it comes in. I’ll always use this from now on!!

I hate this product so much I wish I could give it zero stars. This product made my skin itch and burn so bad. I almost never have to use lotion after I shave but it was the only thing that would soothe the burning and itching. I had this experience with the peppermint and lavender scented products.

Hands down the best shaving soap I've ever used. Lathers up nicely, doesn't irritate my skin, and a little goes a long way.

What a mess! The shave soap bottle is illogical. Anytime you use this product a bunch of extra soap comes out no matter how you hold the bottle. It leaks all over my shower and makes a mess everywhere. The soap is decent but will never buy again because of the bottle.

Extremely liquid-y. It doesn’t lather. Just feels like a slightly thicker version of the regular body wash.

Rated high on Yuka, it’s not a foam or oil. It almost feels like a scrub texture but is very soft and great for shaving. Doesn’t last long bc it’s runny but good price for good ingredients

When I first tried it, it was a little runny but after sitting for a day or so, it thickened up. This is great for shaving. I bought the unscented which has a slight smell that I can't pinpoint, but it doesn't leave any scent on your skin after use. I'll be buying this again.

Used as a shave soap, it was great. Read on your website it can be used head to toe as a cleanser. Haven’t tried it on my hair. However, it lathers very nicely and is so gentle and moisturizing. It can be a little watery and brown water can squirt out a bit. However, it doesn’t hurt anything and doesn’t bother me. I find more earth friendly things can be a little more difficult in little ways like that. However, it is worth working with them a little for the benefits. I find shaking it well before you use it helps with the brown, squirty business.

My husband has beard and loves this soap to clean the lines. Very calming and nourishing for his skin.

Many other products give me a rash, but I switched to this and never had another issue.

I was amazed at this shaving soap. It gave me the most easy shave ever and exceeded my expectations. My only comment is the packaging...it's hard to dispense the right amount without it spilling out. But that won't stop me from buying it again...it's a winner for me!

I expected more from Dr. Bronner. I couldn't stand even looking at the dark brown slimy mess that poured from the tube. I expected a creamy white/ish substance. This is NOT for me.

I hestitated to try this product because of a few negative reviews, but I would encourage those reviewers to investigate what's in other shaving products before complaining about this one. This one contains all natural ingreidents, hence it is a bit more liquidy than most and the company could probably do a better job with the packagining since it can get all over the place in the current tube. All that said, the actual product is excellent when used. Leaves a nice shave and doesn't make you prone to razor pricks. Also, the peppermint gives you a nice warm finish that feels great!

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. It’s just the soap repackaged in a very inappropriate tube. It’s so liquidy, that it spills everywhere as soon as you open it. It’s not creamy or foamy enough for a good shave. Honestly, the worst shave product I’ve ever tried.

I think the product is high quality, but I just didn't like it as a shave cream. It is very runny, to the point of going on my lips and into my mouth as I shaved. However, I did receive a clean and close shave. It left my face feeling pretty good afterward. But it left something to be desired since it did not leave it feeling very moisturized.
