It sounds like it’s pushing the upper limits of your kitchen’s circuit and might one day trip your circuit breaker. A: I have been using mine for over three years now on my granite kitchen top, although I did get a heat protector sheet to put under it. I do store the pan and baskets I’m not using on top of it and they do get very warm when I cook anything that takes 20 or more minutes.
