I am very unhappy with this toaster oven. The magnet on the door does not line up with the rack in over therefore you need to manually pull and push back the rack. When oven is hot after using it pushing the rack back into over is an issue

I enjoy every feature of this toaster oven, the menu choices, the light inside, the size of the cooking area, the quality materials, and the little beep when the selected temperature is reached or when the food is ready. I use it every day and not just for toasting.

Great oven, bad user experience
It does its job as an oven very well. However, the loud beeps that can't be muted, tray that always blocks the door, and inconsistent controls lead to a poor user experience. The beeping especially amazes me that there is no mute function

Almost perfect
This is my third Smart Oven. My first and second ones were the top of the line version. These are great appliances: they work flawlessly… for about 5 years! They share the same weakness and i expect the new unit will too. Their performance starts degrading when the unit reaches the 50 months threshold. And it’s all related to the control board, which i suspect is rthe same component for all Smart Ovens. The telltale sign is the audio alarm sound that flickers. A few months later the control knob starts acting up. When it’s turned rapidly towards the upper function settings, it “slips” invariably towards the first option on the screen (dehydrate). There is no way to circumvent this. Once you have been “reverted” to te bottom of the display screen, the only way to set the curser on the correct function is to slowly turn the knob by increments, one function at a time until you reach the .desired function. Other than that, these ovens are the best. The Airfry function could be a little better @ frying if you compare the results with a dedicated device. Also cleaning the interior is cumbersome.

Our 2nd Smart Oven Pro
We've owned two, the fan on the first one began to make noises so we gave it away, it still worked fine, just noisy after 5+ years of use. New one is great, but I've noticed when you close the door with the grate in the upper position, the door is sticky to close and I see why, the door impinges on the grate (magnet) and slides the grate up a bit causing it to "stick". Hopefully as the metal wears a bit closing the door will be much smoother. This seems like a QA/QC issues and should have been identified and resolved at the factory.

Perfect counter top oven
This is my second Breville smart oven. I loved it so well I purchased another upgraded model. It makes perfect toast and bagel every time and has a wide range of settings to adjust to different tastes and products. The oven small is large but overall the oven does not take up too much counter space. I also love the oven light and the lighted easy to use control panel. Excellent product!

Love this larger Breville oven! Upgrades from mini and it fits larger things perfectly . Only con is middle rack is on a clip to pull out when door opens but you have to manually push back in. No need for air fryer in an oven.

Solid performance
Upgrading from a basic toaster Oven has been eyeopening for me. My initial reason for upgrading was to be able to bake without overheating the kitchen in the summer. Well, it has been an exceptionally cold winter so I have not been able to test that feature yet. What I love the most so far is being able to reheat food without getting a saucepan dirty or turning the microwave on.

I purchased my first Breville, earlier version of this model 24 years ago, using at least once a day or more. I have used all features of my oven and have to say it is the best unit of its kind, bar none. After 14 years the temperature sensor started to fail. Needless to say, I purchase a new one. It is working as good if not better than my old unit. If you want a multi functional oven you don't need to look further. Buy the way, all the different functions work as advertised, and the bonus, it makes perfect toast.

I discovered that this oven is capable of baking a loaf of sourdough bread without the need of using a heavy Dutch oven. I experimented today with my weekly sourdough loaf with spelt, whole wheat and all purpose flour. it worked very well.

Love Smart Oven
This is our third toaster oven, we decided that the one we had at home would be better in our trailer as it is lighter and a bit smaller (7 years old and works great). The one in the trailer we will use for any outdoor cooking at home (stored in the garage). The Smart Oven is meeting my expectations with the items I have cooked so far. I especially liked that I didn’t have to cover a cake for the last 20 minutes. Casseroles have turned out as they should. Should be baking some focaccia this week which will be my big test. Since I don’t have a person to cleanup after me, must things get covered. The only thing I miss from my other oven is the light not staying on when in use. I’m getting use to the loud beeps when it gets to temperature or time is up.

Slow learner
Call me stupid but the third one of these things just quit on me today. The first one had a problem with the control board failing and luckily it was replaced by the retailer just out of warranty. The second one had the fan jam and fail out of warranty. We loved the other features so like fools we bought a third. Well the fan on this one started to rattle, again just out of warranty and today it became suddenly quiet and has stopped turning and just quietly buzzes. Took a while but guess my next one will not be a breville.

Dead before the two year mark.
Disappointed that this didn't last even two years from purchase. It completely died on us last night mid cook. We unplugged it and when plugging it back in, it started sparking inside on the upper right side behind the control panel. It's a shame something this pricey has to be replaced already. I guess if you do buy this, get the additional warranty. I wish I had.
