Infuse 13" Round Comal: Carbon Steel Skillet for Tortilla, Gas & Induction Cooktops, Hand Wash, Black

I’ve had this comal for a few weeks and already the “nonstick” coating scratched off as I was handwashing it. Used it to heat tortillas and char some chiles, so naturally some of the chile juice got stuck and dried up on the pan with the heat. Had to use some elbow grease to try and clean off the chile and this is the result. Now I don’t feel comfortable using it considering how easily this seal came off, don’t want that stuff in my food. It heats evenly and is just thin enough that it makes tortilla warming perfect! It's also great as a griddle for pancakes! It's perfect for when I just want to make just a pancake or two instead of dragging out the huge driddle. They turned out great! It heats up fast, and I know we will use this over and over again!Highly recommended!

The heat distribution is great and so far it’s held up well. I would definitely recommend to add to your kitchen arsenal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect size to heat up tortillas, roti, or any other pancake like bread! The pan has a decent weight to it. It heats evenly. Truly non-stick, hardly need any fat to keep from sticking which makes it easy to clean. One thing I would say is the handle does get hot after a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted this comal not just to make things like tortilla but also roti and pancakes. It worked nicely for the tortilla. It cooked it well. I haven’t used it as yet for pancakes but I think it will work. However it’s too small for the size of roti I generally make. I guess I will have to make them smaller. I like I can use it to roast peppers and I will try it with other veggies too. It is non stick, heavy duty and heavy in weight. It’s actually too heavy for me. It’s safe for ovens since it’s made of carbon steel all over.

It is medium size and it makes great toasted cheese sandwiches and is great for pancakes as well. It is very sturdy made. It doesn't burn when you cook on it it holds heat great. I would recommend for anyone to buy this great pan. I love love love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comal is perfect for making quesadillas! It can fit two medium size tortillas on it and heats up evenly and quickly. The one downfall is the handles are also metal and can get hot. I haven't tried roasting peppers on here yet but I think it would work well and could probably do a couple at a time. Overall I recommend this item!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you so much for this comal. I love how beautiful it is. It works pretty well on my electric stove. I like that it's larger than normal. I will be using this to warm up my tortillas and I will be trying it to make pancakes so far cleaning it has been very easy. I did notice the shape change a little bit with the high heat. I will come back to comment further on this when I use a little bit more but so far I really love it and I'm so happy with it

Although it doesn’t really work as non stick that’s why I put 4 stars. This causes it to be harder to clean and I didn’t want to use a metal scrub to clean because it would ruin it. But this is amazing for anything like grilled cheese sandwiches, pancakes, tortillas, and more.

The only con I have is that it scratches easily so just be careful when using. I made some quesadillas and they came out good. It is very light weight and very practical for everyday use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is made of carbon steel and it does have to be cured each time it’s going to be used. I have to add oil to it. Otherwise, I learned from my mistakes that if it’s completely dry, it will burn my tortillas. So I have to season it by adding oil and then I put my tortillas, and I no longer have that problem of having them burn. I can comfortably fit four corn tortillas or three flour tortillas. Once I got the hang of this I was able to make homemade corn tortillas without having them burn. At first, it was a love-hate relationship because this was new for me on how to utilize it without having to do anything to it because I was so used to using a Comal that had Teflon on it, but I know those don’t last forever and since this one is a metal carbon, it will actually last a very long time as long as I keep on seasoning it

You can fit at least two tortillas at a time on the comal. This comal distributes heat evenly too which is great. If you love cooking Mexican food this product is for you. 🌮

My soft tortilla warned right away and doesn’t get burned easily or fast which give me sometime to put other stuff in there like pepper’s, tomatoes etc . Nice product.
