OtterBox iPhone 16 Pro Max Commuter Series Case with MagSafe - Black: Plastic, Solid Pattern

I’ve had this case since 2024 so 2 years and no problems. It’s sleek and stylish. I’ve dropped it a gazillion times and my phone (and case!) are still in perfect shape. Super happy with this purchase.

I like the case but the rubber is peeling off. By the lock button is bad.

Already tearing from where the charging port is, only had for about a week! Very disappointing! Have been with otter box for a while and never had poor quality this quick. Looking for a replacement!

Best purchase I made this year. Got it during Black Friday sale. I’m glad I came into the store to browse. My phone looks alot more classier than before.

Great case that securely fits around my phone and prevented cracks when I dropped my phone.

I would recommend against this model of otterbox, i bought this on a Monday and by Wednesday there was a crack in my screen protector without having dropped the device.

Excellent case and protects against drops. I really like the rubber to keep it from sliding.

Case works great. Wish it was kind of rubberized on the back so it doesn’t slide on hard surfaces.

It’s not bulky. 95% of the case I love. That other 5% I didn’t like was actually a dealbreaker. The cutout for the camera control. Left a lot of the edge of screen exposed. While playing/scrolling on the phone my finger wanted to go there and didn’t feel the best. I would also hit the camera control button when putting it in my pocket

As with all Otterbox cases, this case offers a great balance between protection and slim design. Not as bulky as the Defender series (and there is no attached screen protector as part of the case) but I have been using this series for almost 8 years now and it's great. The case is very well designed and engineered. Some have note that the side camera focal slide (opposite of the volume buttons) seems to be somewhat exposed. Yet after using this new case (my 16 Pro Max was an upgrade from my 12 Pro Max) for almost two months, I have found no concerns or weaknesses in the design. Keep in mind, no case is foolproof (assuming the user is trying to drop their phone). Yet the slide focal button never comes into contact with any surface unless on purposely attempts to make it touch. This case offers a good balance of slim design, lighter weight, and is much less bulky that other cases purporting to be hyper-rugged. Remember, it's an Otterbox! This company has been around over 25 years and what they design works! Or protects! I guess the difference depends on whether you are a glass half-empty or a half-full person! Highly recommend!

It fits and looks really good. A little bulkier than the symmetry case, but feels safer for a drop. I’ve always purchased OtterBox cases. I would love to have the old mix and match color options. This is a good looking case, but I think a black rubber interior with the green would look really slick. I guess I could buy 2 different colored cases, but I’m probably not going to. Over all a really great case as always.

Got the purple. Love the color, feel, and protection. Works great with the Charging Pad for MagSafe (7.5W).

I’m usually really happy with Otterbox products but this Commuter case is really disappointing. For some reason the upper left corner of my phone keeps slipping out and the MagSafe magnets aren’t nearly as strong as some other MagSafe compatible products I’ve used.

The product is okay, but does not fit as well as the iPhone 12 version.
