I like their crispy cookies and I like soft chocolate chip cookies best in general, so I assumed I’d like these. But they taste more artificial than their other cookies and are missing the fresh, buttery taste of their crispy cookies.

Its texture is just soft without any other texture. I like soft cookies to be chewy. The taste was cheap as well. I just had one bite and threw the rest away.

WARNING! Dont EVEN try them!

Don’t. Just don’t. They aren’t chewy. They are just weird halfway done cakes that fall apart before you can take a bite. As a Tates fan, these were extremely disappointing. I chose to ignore the reviews and tried them anyways. Save your money. Go back to the shelf, put these back and grab the ol’faithful crispy cookies. You’re welcome.

Tastes Like Chemicals. Doesn't tates as good as the crispy ones, the cookies are all stuck togehter and taste funny like the cookies you get at the gas station.

I was hoping they would be denser and chewier, but they were very light and rather bland, neither dry nor moist. It wasn't awful, but I wouldn't get it again.

Softer than bread is too soft

I’ve seen sand castles sturdier than these cookies. They crumble and not in a good way. They taste like sugar paste. I prefer soft and chewy cookies over crunchy cookies and I still hate these. Awful. Imagine you took a loaf of bread, some water, and a box of cookies, blended them up and then ate it with a spoon

Not enough chips, sticky, falling apart

Opened these cookies yesterday and they are very disappointing. Very few chocolate chunks, probably 2-3 per cookie, nothing like the pictures. The cookie is extremely crumbly. The cookies stick to each other in the package, and then fall apart when you try to get one on its own. These are expensive and don’t taste good. Will never buy them again.

Disappointed

Nope. Bought them as a surprise and I’m glad we decided we’d try them first. The texture is ALL WRONG. They are cakey not the chewy finish they should have. The flavor is ok but not anything to write home about. Seems to be good enough quality chocolate chips. The original Tates are way better.

i am a big fan of the original chocolate chip & chocolate chocolate chip cookies, even tho i prefer a chewier cookie to a crispy one in general. i was so excited to learn that tate's was coming out with a soft baked cookie! while the taste is good, the structure and appearance need more work. the cookies fall apart when you touch them & crumbs are everywhere. and they are too pale. not very enticing. i hope they overhaul the soft baked cookies. until then i will stick with the crispy ones which are still really awesome.

A little disappointed

I was excited for these cookies because I do prefer soft baked however, the taste wasn’t as good as I expected. The cookies also stuck together and fell apart so easily. I’ll just stick with the original cookies.
