  • A: Hi there, Thank you for reaching out with your question. The shade installs using two support rings that are included in the box. The fabric has small clips along the edges that attach directly to the rings to hold the shade in shape. Once the clips are secured to both rings, the shade naturally forms, and is ready to install on the lamp.

  • A: Yes, the bulb for the Montage Modern can be swapped for a different bulb if preferred. Please note that the bulb used cannot exceed 100W as that's the max wattage this lamp's socket can handle.

    Nice lamps

    Really love these lamps. Was a little nervous to order them online but they came very nicely packaged and were easy to put together. They are exactly what I was hoping for! Nice quality.     Poor quality, defective and broke easily upon assembly

    Bad quality, at first would only go together with the shade pointed in the wrong direction, then the neck of the lamp split off at a joint when I attempted to unscrew it to try putting it together again

    Very Happy With This Lamp

    This is the second Brightech lamp I've purchased and both have exceeded expectations. The Montage works perfectly behind our couch. We did not have any trouble getting it to stand straight after some adjustment to the bottom attachment. I appreciate that others mentioned the shade is tan as opposed white. Fortunately the tan works in our room but if I had been expecting white like the photos I would have been disappointed. That said, the shade packaging, assembly and design is brilliant. What a smart way to ship a typically large sized item. I will definitely continue to shop Brightech for our future lighting needs.

    Bright light to sit right under

    Lamp materials quality and shipping experience are great. I love the look of the lamp in my room. The light is so bright that I really think the lamp needs a diffuser disk at the bottom of the shade, however, and I am experimenting with how to fix the issue — 40 watt bulb might work (comes with a 60). It is not a tall lamp and the light is super close to the person on the couch.

    Terrific lamp!

    Sleek lamp but doesn't stand up straight

    After I tightened the nut on the base of the lamp, it still wouldn’t stand up fully straight. Enough for me to want to return it honestly. Also, the shade looks really cheap when you get up close and notice it’s just rolled and snapped into place. Lastly, the switch being on the wire means you can’t really have the lamp near a couch with wires behind the couch because you won’t be able to turn on your lamp LOL
