  • A: I haven't had a tearing (or shredding) problem with Quilted Northern Plush. I did with Charmin's "smooth tear", so made the switch. I'm pleased with Northern's quality. I hope that helps.

    This toilet paper is garbage. This used to be one of the best brands, it was super soft, a little bit on the pricey side, but really good quality. Now it pills, falls apart easily and you have to use a ton of it when before a few sheets did the job. Never ever repurchasing

    Soft but extremely dusty

    I ordered this because it was recommended as a toilet paper that creates less dust, but it might be the dustiest TP I've ever used. Just opening the package created a cloud of dust and left little dust bunnies all over the floor. It's definitely soft, though.

    If I could give 0 stars I would

    I usually don’t write reviews, but this is the worst toilet paper I’ve ever spent money on. I cannot believe I spent my hard earned money on this trash. It says three ply but it’s so cheaply made, it might as well be 1. This is basically like what you find in public bathroom. It shreds each layer every time you try to tear it and it clogged up my toilet. No other toilet paper has ever done that for me. This is the worst. STAY AWAY!

    Quilted Northern Bathroom Tissue is the Best

    Quilted Northern Ultra Plush Toilet Paper is my preferred bathroom tissue as it's truly soft & the paper isn't glued onto the role, making it easy to use the last bit of paper. This brand also replaces the trees used to manufacture toilet paper, easing my mind as to damage to our forests. I've used this bathroom tissue for many years, plan to continue doing so, it's good about being reduced in price or having coupons.

    Worst Quality Control Ever!

    I've bought this product for years. It used to be good, but it just gets worse and worse all the time. It first began about six years ago. Everyone blamed the pandemic, but come on! It's been years and the stuff is falling apart between layers, you can't possibly tear on the perforations consistently, and the size has shrunk until it's ridiculous! I have a wooden toilet paper holder and TP used to fill it completely, but now it's a full inch shorter as it bounces around on the holder! Less for the same money. The worst part however, is how poorly it's manufactured. It is often not even round, with pointed places, because it's not wound tight enough. The part when it first goes on the paper spool, it often is all misshapen and in a wad. Try to tear off sheets is almost impossible as shards of the next sheet stay attached. I've complained before, but nothing changes. It continues to be the poorest quality ever! And no one seems to want to do anything about it either, as this has gone on for years! The only reason I've not gone elsewhere is the price, but I am just at that tipping point where enough is enough! So anyone who gives this paper a good review hasn't been using the same paper I'm using! Worst toilet paper ever! Stupid form won't even let you choose no other products I use that are listed. Crummy survey too!

    Not as soft as it was

    I am an older lady that swears by Northern Ultra Plush TP. I’ve noticed over the last several months that it is not near as soft and plush as it was. TP is something I don’t skimp on but lately I have been very disappointed! What’s going on and why change a good luxurious thing?
