Expensive but worth it for all ages. My whole family uses this device to play games and watch movies. If you get motion sickness easily though, you might want to stay away from certain games.

Like: awesome experience, new way compact way to exercise your body and brain,other complain about the og strap works for me thoo no need to buy extra, my 9 years old easily wear meta with prescription glasses(rayban). Dislike: battery needs to be charged 2 hours max,play time only 1-11/2 hours, games costly at least $20 ,,,subscription free for 3month part of the deal bundle with batman,download the games take a while , if wearing glasses might get foggy on the glasses,the face sponge quite roughly rubs your face might be a good idea to get after market one,

Target delivery is a scam
Zero stars. Bought this item Tuesday, paid extra for delivery Wednesday. Today, Wednesday, tracking said out for delivery at 10:18. By 8:30 pm no delivery and then a report that item delivered along with a black photo. Clearly a scam by the driver. The item was stolen by them. Target clearly has no quality control. Will never order online from them again. What a waste of my time. Buyer beware, Target's best days are behind it.

Slow and buggy
I love the quest headsets but what is the point if I can’t download a game? It just took an hour to download a single gigabyte. I have 150mb/sec download speed right now. That’s insane! I’m not the only one having these issues either.

Hi Raf! First of, thank you for the love! We really do appreciate that you love the Meta Quest headsets, so we certainly want to resolve your download speed issue! If you haven't already, we would suggest the following quick troubleshooting methods: - Make sure your headset is near your home WiFi router - Download speed will improve if you are using the 5GHz band of your router - Forget the current WiFi settings in your headset settings, reboot the headset then connect to the WiFi again and test the download speed. Another suggestion would be if you're attempting these downloads from the headset directly, to instead try downloading the games from the Horizon App. Go into the mobile app and go to your library (click Menu at the bottom, then Library). Select the game you want to install from there and then "Install on (Device Name Here)" on the bottom. Make sure the Quest is powered on and on WiFi, and then you can compare the download speeds between the two methods! If you still require assistance after attempting the above, we would love to help you with this even further. Please go onto the community forums, log in and send us a private message where we will be able to keep communication going to get this fully resolved!

Horribke and ethical
My problems began with meta sending the package to a vacant house in the wrong city. It escalated with me having to drive 80 miles on Christmas Day to retrieve it, as they refused. It's ending with them misusing my personal information by emailing me rude emails over and over when I've asked them to stop. Customer service reps refuse to let customers contact managers.

Seriously this is what is the actual Next-Gen gaming and just overall experiences. Was worth the difference over the 3s. You don’t have to work hard to find the sweet spot like you do on the 3s. You’ll think you’re just buying this for games like Beat Saber (which IS great!) but you’ll find the VR ecosystem is quite large and expansive. I have never likes putting puzzles together but a game called Puzzling Places is absolutely amazing! And the platformer called Moss is shockingly good! Just Dance (if you like dancing!) on the Meta Quest 3 is so good and looks amazing! If you’ve thought about VR but were worried about the library of games take another look because I’m finding new, amazing stuff every day! Heck even the fishing game (Real Fishing) is beautiful and relaxing and I don’t fish! lol

Behemoth, Walking dead saints and sinners, NFL pro era are all great games to play as well as mixed reality games. There’s a lot of good tips for Motion sickness if you experience any. I already got 2 of my friends to buy one after they used mine. You can even watch movies and play Xbox game pass on it.

Dont mind the other reviews. It's great.
This is one of the best affordable VR headsets on the market. I see other reviews complaining about stuff that isn’t even the headsets fault. Yes, theres a chance of motion sickness called virtual reality sickness but I had no problem. My dad however does get stomach discomfort after playing. It is a great upgrade from the 2. The 3S is good for the wallet if you want a cheaper option but be aware it won’t have the visual quality of the 3. In my option the price of the 3 is worth it for the visual upgrade but if it’s your first headset you won’t tell a difference. The 3 has overall better lenses, higher image quality, and less distortion and glare than the 3S. It was easy to set up and the tutorial is great. Target has a return policy so if you’re having issues like motion sickness or other personal issues just return it.

Bought and returned in a week
I saw the Meta keynote in October/November 2024 and was excited reading about the upcoming Windows integrations. Unfortunately, I found the device too uncomfortable and nauseating to use. I found that the device also generates heat that lingers on my face where the headset rests, adding to my uncomfortably. I had high hopes, but just couldn't stand actually wearing the thing or using it.
