So I waited a bit to write this review and im so glad I did! I've purchased matress toppers before as I have a really old mattress, but let me tell you this one is the REAL DEAL-worth every penny. The other reviews saying the cover doesn't fit the foam, or the foam curls up...just be patient. It takes some wiggling and a bit of soft yanking, but the cover fits nicely over the foam. After sleeping on it for a bit, its transformed my bed into a place I cant wait to get to, a true cloud sanctuary. The topper is quite soft, but still maintains the perfect amount of firm to cradle you. The ONLY downside i could find is it sometimes shifts when I get off my bed, so I have to periodically readjust it, but im sure if you were to get off both sides, there would he no problem. Believe me when I say this topper has mad my bed feel BRAND NEW!

Very Hard

If I could give zero stars, I would. This mattress topper has been a nightmare. It’s painful, it smells, it’s soft in the wrong way. All it’s done is make us question our willingness to pay such a high price for such a bad item (which we have plenty of time to do because sleep does not come easy on it).

Perfect! Mine did not have oder but I know some can due to packaging but, the cover fit well and I love that it unzips all the way around for easy insert. The topper and foam together make for a nice luxurious support. Love ❤️

Don't bother with this topper. I bought the king sized, once it was unrolled and on my bed, I had to double check the size on the box because I thought I had California king. There was at least 6"-7" of foam overhanging on my mattress. You have to put the pillow top zipper case around the foam pad, which is a challenge in itself. With the foam being larger than the case, the foam ends up bunching up in the cover since the cover has no stretch. If would not lay flat on my bed because of that. It doesn't matter if you line up the foam with the cover perfectly, the foam is to large. It's also way too soft, you sink into it, but not in a comfortable way. If you are a side or stomach sleeper, forget it. The foam is also very cheap, and has a chemical smell. it's the kind of foam that will be flat within a month of sleeping on it. I tried sleeping on it. I didn't even realize it was supposed to be a cooling topper until I was reading the reviews today. I should've read them before buying. Apparently I missed that it said cooling on the package. It was the hottest "sleep" I've ever had. I had to keep moving around to different spots just to get away from the heat under my body. As uncomfortable as my mattress is, while I was laying on this topper, I actually wished I was just lying on my uncomfortable mattress because it's way better than this. Worst sleep I've had in a long time. I returned it today. (bought it yesterday) Getting it back in the box was " fun!" Don't bother with this one. Not even close to being worth $200.

While it does provide a nice pillow like top, it flattens out almost immediately. I started to get body aches from using this topper. It’s too late to return, so now it just sits in the corner taking up a huge amount of space. Once it’s on, it starts to fall off the bed too. Every morning, I’d have to pull it back to the other side of the bed.

BUY AT OWN RISK! (but Read my review first!!): I would give zero stars if possible. The mattress was torn and also does not fit in the cover. I shouldve read more reviews because the “mattress being too big for the cover” is very common apparently yet CasaLuna is not correcting it..

Foam is comfortable but it has a very strong chemical smell that did not go away after 5 days. It crumbled and left foam bits all over and it cracked really easily. I returned it.

This item is so comfortable. It does give you a slight sinking feeling, so if you don’t like that, then this might not be for you. I love sleeping on this, but for me, it’s not terribly cooling like it says it is. It’s been making me feel hotter since I’ve started using it.

My husband and I will a little hesitant because of the price but definitely worth it. Makes our bed so comfortable! So comfortable that my husband and I slept the whole night with a Bluey toy in our bed from our son and didn’t even feel/ notice it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 Title: Comfortable idea, but the foam insert fit is a deal breaker I wanted to love the Casaluna Premium Cooling 4 inch Dual Layer Memory Foam Mattress Topper, especially at around 200 dollars. The cover looks nice and the concept is great. But the foam insert simply does not fit the cover correctly. No matter how carefully I tried to position it, the foam bunches, shifts, and will not lay flat. I bought this in store and missed the existing warnings in the reviews, and I am genuinely surprised this is still being sold at this price with the same recurring issue being reported.  What bothers me most is that this does not feel like a one off defect. If you read through the product reviews, multiple buyers describe the same thing: the foam does not fit inside the zip cover and ends up lumpy or bunched even after repeated attempts to fix it.  Why this product may be failing (based on what I found, and what I experienced): 1. Tolerance and sizing mismatch between the foam and the sewn cover. If the foam is cut even slightly off spec or expands unevenly after being compressed for shipping, a fitted zip cover has no slack, so you end up with bunching or a poor fit. The fact that many reviews report the same symptom suggests a repeatable manufacturing or spec issue, not just user error.  2. Dual layer design without enough internal anchoring. This topper is marketed as a dual layer setup, meaning multiple components have to sit correctly together inside the cover. If there is not strong internal structure to keep layers aligned, shifting and wrinkling is much more likely over time, especially on larger sizes.  3. Pattern of “does not match standard dimensions” complaints in the broader Casaluna bedding ecosystem. Separately, there are discussions from owners of Casaluna covers and inserts noting size mismatches where the cover and insert do not line up well, leaving excess material or a poor fill. Different product category, same theme: sizing consistency is not reliable.  Bottom line: if you are considering this topper, read the reviews first and take the fit complaints seriously. If you want a topper you can just put on and enjoy, this one may turn into a frustrating wrestling match, plus a bulky return. I would not recommend it unless Target and Casaluna fix the insert and cover sizing problem that so many buyers keep reporting. 

Horrible. How do I return it? It ripped and it is way too soft.

I paid 178 dollars just for them to send me a freaking air filter. Defiantly annoyed.

I have had my mattress topper for 2 months and now it is in pieces. This product would be more suitable for adults but not for kiddos whom occasionally soil the sheets and covering must be washed. The foam is not reliable for this matter.

Listen to other reviews. The foam does not fit correctly inside the cover. We tried it several ways and it’s still bunched up after careful attempts. For reference I bought the king size.

Rips and tears, difficult to place inside the cover

If I could give this product a half star, I would. the foam cracks and disintegrates quickly. Day one, we checked and it was split in a small spot. Figured any weight on that over time would get larger and break apart. We were able to exchange it for another one, but the has the same problem. We were able to return the second one and was told that would be the last one we could return. Here's the thing, tried the product twice, both were easily damaged (just by putting it on the bed) and we definitely will not be buying another one. Buyer Beware, not a quality product.

Way, way too soft — trust me. Likely to have back pain due to it being too soft it creates a valley between your upper back/neck and pillow. Literally I sank into and I’m a very healthy and weight proportional male adult. I’ve bought Casaluna in the past and had a traditional foam mattress topper for years, I’ve loved it. So I gave this a try and returning today. Buy with caution!
