Schlage Georgian Satin Nickel Passage Door Knob Right or Left Handed

They turn with just the right amount of resistance so that children can’t easily open the door. I was replacing older, unattractive knobs and was so happy that these lined up perfectly to the old locations. I can’t speak to durability yet as I just installed them. But they look great!

Luckily I was able to use my old brass ones. There are extra pieces that I don’t know what to do with. This is only the second doorknob I have ever nstalked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our home 12 years ago and part of our plan was to remove the shiney brass that was everywhere, including door hardware. The knobs were no name, builders grade components and I painted them all. Naturally, over time, the paint weathered so we have been replacing them with Schlage F series sets. They are natural to the hand and are not stubby like the originals. We use Schlage exclusively and have been extremely satisfied with the installations and the functionality. The availability is excelent and I highly recommend Schlage. Richard K.
