A: The Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker (model WMR-CA) does not have removable plates — the cooking surface is fixed and nonstick. However, the nonstick coating makes cleanup fairly easy by wiping the plates with a damp cloth or sponge after use. It’s recommended to avoid abrasive cleaners or metal utensils that could damage the coating.

Q: First the details state that this has a “ceramic nonstick” surface, but elsewhere it just says “nonstick”. I’m wondering which is correct for the grilling surface. To me it doesn’t look like ceramic, but I am hopeful that it is.

Great product, very well made. Very easy to use , you plug it in and wait till it warms up. When the green light appears you pour the batter in in the center and you close it. When the red light turns on its ready. It cooks very quick. It only has a sliding button that goes from 1 to 5. Best purchase ever.

This is the best waffle maker we have ever owned (and we are 75). The slide WORKS to select the desired "brownness". Also, it is convenient to have a light tell you when the waffle is done. We like it so well, we bought a second one for the camper so we wouldn't have to keep searching for where it was - in the kitchen? in the camper? Search for one yourself. Buy two before you can't find another one.

I absolutely LOVE my new Cuisinart Round Classic Waffle Maker. The ease of adjusting the "doneness" of the waffle makes me so happy because sometimes I feel like having a soft finish waffle.

This is the best waffle iron we have ever owned. This is my second purchase to put in our RV. Got tired of going back and forth for it and afraid I'd leave it in winter storage! Easy to control color. Easy release. BUY IT WHILE YOU CAN!!! THEY ARE HARD TO FIND. I'm thinking of buying a third. If I never need it, I can leave it in my will!

We owned one of these for almost 2 decades. It worked great. We were really disappointed when if finally failed. As I searched through various possibilities for replacements, none of them were quite what we wanted. Then I had the thought to check directly at Cuisinart. The new one seems even better! (Maybe the original was just as good, but got old. Ha! Well so did I.) We love how quickly and consistently this waffle iron cooks. The waffles come out nice and even. The non-stick surface works great. We never have to do anything to it. Simply measure in the batter, cook the waffles, and enjoy! It also makes waffles that have a great balance for holding just the right amount of syrup. We're loving it!

This is an AWESOME product! It makes perfect waffles every time. It has a temperature selector to give you light, soft waffles or browner, crisper waffles. It cleans up easy with a wet paper towel and has a great non-stick coating that does not require any vegetable sprays. It has a unique feature that let's you store the waffle maker standing up....taking up very little space on your counter so you're more likely to have it ready for use at a moments notice. It is also reasonably priced. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve owned this waffle maker for atleast 10years. I absolutely love it! Unfortunately so did my ex-wife..she took it in the divorce. So I bought another one! And I’m looking forward to continuing the Saturday waffle breakfast tradition with my daughter and I! When my family visits from out of town they always rave about the waffles I make on this badboy! Highly recommended! Once you find the right recipe for your waffles paired with this maker, u can create magic!
