[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved this set! The mini figures were unique so he was very excited to have a couple new mini figs. The mech build was challenging enough that it kept him busy for a while but easy enough for him to do it alone. He loves yellow so the finished product will be staying on his shelf for a long time.

It took me about an hour to put together, and the process was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The mech looks fantastic once built, with great details and fun weapons. I really love the Ninjago line, and this set is a perfect addition to the collection. Highly recommend for fans of mechs or Ninjago!

The poseable mech and interchangeable parts with other sets make playtime more creative. The build holds together well, even after lots of play. Instructions were clear and easy enough for him to follow with little help. Pieces are typical LEGO quality—safe and sturdy, with no sharp edges. Overall, a great set for NINJAGO fans that keeps kids engaged long after the build is finished.

They felt that some parts were challenging, but it did keep them occupied for a couple of hours. This is great for kids who want to build on their motor skills and learn how to put together toys.
