Bink 27oz Day Water Bottle Carry Cap Butter

This is a great water bottle for those who are looking for alternatives to steel or plastic water bottles. Although it looks bulky I find that it is not cumbersome to carry at all. The outer silicone-like insulation does a great job of protecting the glass. This item is not delicate at all for an adult. For those whom have children then I may not recommend this for children or teens, and I have dropped it from a height of 4 feet and it did crack. The insulation does a fair job of keeping iced drinks cool without the problem of too much condensation. It is easy to wash. The silicone doesn’t stain or absorb odor easily which is very nice. This product is much more durable than expected. This is my second purchase of this item. I’ve also purchased a size smaller in the color Glacier. I find both to be a good investment.

I love the silicone cover that allows to get the perfect grip when drinking, and of course to protect the bottle from breaking. The color yellow is beautiful. I love mine. It does “sweat” if you put ice in it, but I personally don’t mind it.

I had been eyeing this bottle for a few months every time I went to Target. I finally pulled the trigger almost a month ago and was enjoying my new, glass, non-toxic bottle when I encountered a few things that made it difficult to want to use it everyday. 1. It's hard to drink out of a big, round, glass mouth like this one. It would usually dribble over my chin, but maybe it was user error. 2. The lid and glass mouth get stinky very quickly (2 days) even when I wash the rubber piece inside the lid. This was inconvenient for me to wash so frequently and made drinking water uncomfortable. 3. The rubber sleeve gets REALLY stinky as water drips down when you take sips, getting in between the sleeve and glass and growing bacteria. 4. The sleeve is really difficult to clean in order to get stains and smells out. I did like how the bottle was spill resistant when closed shut and never leaked. I would say it's durable as I've dropped it and have not seen any damage. It is soft and pretty to look at, but not as functional as I'd thought when I would eye it.

I've been using it about a week and I love it. You do have to screw the top on carefully but that's true of almost any water bottle. I'd been using stainless steel bottles but even those had flaws where the steel was folded over at the top of the bottle where the top screwed on so it was impossible to get clean completely. Between the glass bottle and the simplehard plastic top there isn't anywhere for dirt/gook to hide. I haven't had any issues carrying it or dropping it and am so glad I got it.

Solid and cute. Only thing I would change is to pure the rubber seal in the lid and not on the glass right where you drink.
