A: Yes, it can be used on cork floors with a high-gloss finish as long as the floor is properly sealed. Use the Light steam mode and a clean pad to avoid over-wetting, and test on a small area first. Dry the surface after cleaning to protect the finish.

All this does is move the dirt on the floor to another area of the floor. I have a light coloured floor after using it I found all the dirt marks were in the areas where the mop edges were. The result was a line of dirt wjich I had to op up with a normal mop

I bought the Shark Steam and Mop after reading great reviews, but my experience has been the opposite. It leaves my tile floors looking worse than before — with streaks and visible marks that weren't there before mopping. It doesn’t remove scuffs or stuck-on spots, and overall just feels ineffective. I followed all instructions, used clean pads, and even tried distilled water, but the results are still poor. Very disappointed with this purchase.

We recently upgraded from the standard Shark steam mop to this version and have been really pleased. I love that the shark steam mops don’t require any chemicals and that this models water well come completely off for far easier filling. I also love that this model has the option to add additional steam for harder to clean spots. The only draw back on this one is that the rotating heads can be kind of hard to manage around walls or in corners. I also wish the pads had a little more pile to them becuase I don’t always feel like they are doing a great job of collecting the grime from the floor.

I bought this two weeks ago and have used twice. Looks good, feels like it’s cleaning but leaves the floor smeared. I don’t know why I thought it would leave the floor as clean as with a mop and bucket when you can see the dirty water you dispose of with a mop bucket. I wish I had purchased the Shark Hydrovac which has a dirty water tank.

I bought the Shark Steam and scrub about a week ago. Used the first time and it left streaks everywhere. So very disappointed. I loved the basic Shark steam mop, and don’t know why you are not making it anymore.

I just got my Shark Steam and Scrub. I used it today AFTER washing my laminate floors with Mr Clean and a mop. I was appalled how much dirt there was still on the floor when I went to remove and clean Shark’s pads! (And I wash my floors every week.) I was impressed with how much dirt this little machine picked up. I will be steaming my floors every week now. Great purchase!

After moving into a large house with wood floors I Was a bit skeptical upon purchase if this steam mop would work reduce the time. Well it exceeded my expectations. So easy to use, virtually the floor dries within a minute and no water marks or product residual on floor. It’s quicker than using a mop and no more bending resulting in aches and pains afterwards. Highly recommend
