I suppose it's because it's dark, so the flavor is strong. As for the caffeine, I'll give you some advice: don't drink it if you're going to sleep. 🤣🤣 It kept me a little awake. The aroma of this coffee is fantastic; it's like freshly ground beans. As for the price, I understand that the prices are reasonable and excellent. The packaging is very pretty, its design, and I was delighted.

We drink a lot of coffee in my house and we are very particular about our coffee. First, we tried this coffee using our press pot and we didn’t enjoy it. It tasted a bit bitter and acidic. Next, we tried this coffee using our Moka pot and it was definitely more enjoyable. The bottom line is this dark roast tastes much better as an espresso or Moka.

I do pick up the dark and Smokey taste notes, but it’s nothing overpowering. It smells delicious. The packaging is on par with other bagged ground coffee and the instructions are foolproof.

I did have to grind it more for my espresso machine though. I would definitely rebuy this roast in the future!

I use about a tablespoon of the grounds with drip and add some creamer and sugar and the coffee tastes delicious! The design on the bag is also so colorful that it makes me want to reach for coffee every morning! The coffee also gives me a big energy boost, and the smell still lingers after I’m done.
