The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Vegan Cream - 1.69 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is how I prepare my own rice water conditioner and it's extremely simple; Wash uncooked rice thoroughly using clean tap water. Raw white rice is better than red or brown rice for this purpose. Collect the water that is left behind and cook the washed rice( I'm Asian so discarding the rice is not an option unless I wish to be disowned) The water retrieved must be milky in colour. This implies that much of the protien and the nutrients have been retained in the water. To curb any odour, I use half a lemon( not just the peels). Initially, I used orange peels but it didn't enhance the properties of the rice water. Rather, it only masked the unpleasant smell. Boil the rice water for about 5 minutes and add the cut lemon into it. Let the water cool while keeping the utensil covered. Quickly pour it into an airtight container after cooling, so as to avoid contamination. The container is then tightly closed and kept in a cool and dark place for atleast a week to facilitate fermentation.

I love this moisturizer and how it just absorbs into the skin. So glad the price is right. I hope all the products in this line stay affordable. Great products. My skin feels so soft. I have dry skin but not anymore. A keeper! I bought the whole start up kit . So glad I tried them.

A little amount goes a long way and spreads well n easily. It has brightening effects but I haven't noticed anu apparent results. Although I was very excited for it because of this effect as part of korean skin care. Otherwise it does the job of moisturizing well.

The moisturizer is very creamy, lightweight and goes on smooth. However, I did start to break out on my chin, which is not normal for me. I didn't notice any major changes to my skin after using. I think that the cream itself is too thin and I need something a little heavier especially for the winter. For me this would be better used in the summer. All in all it did moisturize my skin.

It hydrated my face and didn't pill up layered with other morning products like vitamin c serum. It's lightweight yet very moisturizing. In the night I used it as the last step for my moisturizer and I think it did a great job of hydrating my face for the night too. It's a great versatile product you can use any time!
