Good curl & lift. It really holds a curl well, more so than many drugstore mascaras. You can layer without it getting too thick or clumpy ( if you wipe off excess.

It’s less harsh than black. I have very straight lashes and found that it gave a little curl, nothing super impressive, but for the price it works quite well. It adds volume and requires a lash comb for my ideal lash definition.

It makes my lashes look more voluminous, but the applicator kind of makes the mascara a little bit chunky. It’s fairly easy to remove with standard makeup remover. I love elf products and this one was good, but not great.
