It’s light but sturdy, and the cushions are ridiculously soft — the kind you forget you’re even wearing. I’ve gone through long gaming nights with it on, and it never once felt uncomfortable or too tight. The sound is where it really impressed me. Everything comes through clean and balanced — footsteps, gunshots, even little background noises you’d normally miss. In competitive matches, that extra clarity makes a huge difference. You can actually tell where things are happening, which gives you an edge. The mic does its job well too. My teammates hear me clearly without static or background noise, so I don’t have to repeat myself mid‑match. And the build feels solid enough that I’m not worried about it breaking anytime soon.

I love these headphones and they are just what I needed, they connect well with my laptop and the Logitech app where you can adjust the mic settings and even coordinate the lights to match your laptop. The mic is top quality, very pleased with the performance compared to other sets I had. Sound quality is pretty good as well, but not very soundproof. The headphones themselves are comfortable to wear, I could go a couple hours without any issues. The lightspeed/bluetooth setting is a nice touch, I personally used the lightspeed a lot more (but it does drain more battery). In terms of battery life, I would say it’s pretty good, only needed to charge it twice so far and got many many hours of usage.

It connects in three ways: wireless, Bluetooth, or with a USB-C cable, so I can use it with my PC, console, or phone. The battery lasts a long time, up to 80 hours without lights. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the G522 is a great headset for gaming. The bass is great, and the sound is quite balanced. The fabric ear pads and added support strap on top make the headset super comfortable compared to others I’ve tried in the past. Battery life is great, as I’ve used the headphones for 5 hours straight with no issues at all. The only small complaint I’d have is that the headphones aren’t entirely sound isolating. If there isn’t any audio playing, sounds happening around you such as mouse clicking, typing or talking is very much heard. This may be helped with the option of leather ear pads.

When I plug it in, it goes on a loop from "usb... lightspeed... usb" until it crashes my computer.

My last pair of headphones were a slightly higher priced pair of Sonys, and while those offered a noticeably warmer sound for music, this is perfect for immersive gaming. The headphones are also plenty comfortable, even after long sessions. The earpads are a durable and soft tight-knit fabric, which seems more resistant to sweat and skin oil than the usual faux-leather option (nothing worse than when those start to peel!). They don't have true noise cancelling, but are about as soundproof as you can offer without it. The microphone quality is similarly high. It's slightly tinny for recording as is, but perfect for chatting. The mic is not on an arm, but instead a slightly flexible and durable plug-in attachment. This is great if you want multi-use headphones and worry about damaging the mic, but may be a downside if you have no intentions of using them without it. The headphones can connect wirelessly either through Bluetooth or a 'Lightspeed' low-latency dongle, and you can flip between them at a press of a button, perfect for conveniently flipping from a PC or console to your phone and back. There's an optional app that lets you change additional settings (like the LED colors, I think?), but it will refuse to interface if your headphones aren't on the current firmware, which I keep forgetting to do. Fortunately, you never have to touch the app if you don't want to. Overall, these aren't just great gaming headphones, but great multi-use headphones for people who love video games. I'm as happy with them walking on the treadmill or doing chores as I am going through my Steam backlog or listening to stream VODs. Love it!
