[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Skipper Babysitter playset is a great addition to any Barbie collection. Skipper comes in an adorable outfit. The doll itself is well made and sturdy for little hands to play with. The toddler doll is of the same quality and is dressed in a removable diaper with matching bib which my daughter loved. The high chair is very realistic with a removable tray to accurately accommodate a growing toddler. The set comes with all the accessories one would need to babysit that can all be held in Skipper’s hands. The train ride on toy is a great addition for playtime. My daughter enjoyed acting out Skipper feeding, diapering and general playtime as a babysitter. Very happy with this set.

The baby and high chair are especially fun for imaginative play. My only confusion is the inclusion of an ice cream cone accessory, since a baby wouldn’t realistically eat that. Overall though, it’s a sweet set and worth it for kids who love pretend play!

The feeding utensils fit on the high chair perfectly in the small holes provided on the high chair tray were perfect for accessories. She also enjoyed the bottle and juice cup that came along for pretend play. She did suggest maybe some extra baby good and baby toys would have been fun extras.

The high chair is pretty sturdy and the baby's "hair" is perfect all the time. Skipper looks like a teenager which my daughter made the official babysitter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Skipper Babysitter Inc. I gave the doll to my grand daughter. Her initial response was exciting to both her and me. She loves babies and Skipper taking care of a baby was even more exciting to her. The baby in the high chair was a cutie. I liked that the baby had the same color of hair as skipper. The skipper doll was very preteen looking. I loved her little lavender denim skirt and her little checkered top. Similar to what preteens wear. Shippers lavender sandles were very eye catching for her. She kept pointing them out and taking them on and off. A typical girl who like shoes. The little food products and accessories were nice. A little on the small side considering that the doll says 3+. A lot of those accessories could be put in a mouth. The high chair was nicely done and stood up quite well once opened. Maybe a little dress or clothing would have added a nice touch. The packaging was very descriptive of what was in the package. The back of the package showed a picture of everything you would receive in the box. It showed a picture of skipper and other girls that said Skipper Babysitter inc. I’m assuming maybe skipper also has friends who babysit. If there are other dolls in Babysitters Inc. the dolls should be displayed on the box for other dolls to collect. Almost like a babysitter club. That might be a future idea, maybe another doll with a baby in a stroller, another one with a crib and maybe one in a car seat. Just a future idea. Over all the doll was a hit with my grand daughter and more dolls like her would be great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Babysitting Skipper was used by my 5 year old, after school while playing alone in the living room. She loved it and played nonstop for at least 30-45 minutes. Pretending to take care of a baby that came with the set was entertaining. The highchair included was easy to use with a detachable tray that was easy to take on and off. The accessories included were also easy to use since you could snap the bowl, bottle, or cup onto the highchair tray. Skipper could also easily hold on to an ice cream cone. Have easy, useable pieces included with the set was a plus.

She immediately connected with the idea of caring for the baby—feeding, rocking, and narrating her own little stories as she plays. It’s been especially fun to see her imagination come alive as she steps into a “helper” role, mimicking the kinds of care and attention she sees every day. The doll and baby are well-designed for pretend play, and the accessories add a lot to the experience. From the high chair and ice cream, each piece gives her something new to engage with and keeps her attention longer than many other toys we’ve tried. If there’s one small downside, it’s that the accessories are very easy to misplace—something to keep in mind if you don’t want to go hunting for tiny items around the house. That said, it hasn’t taken away from her enjoyment at all. Overall, this has quickly become one of her favorite toys, and it’s been wonderful to watch her play, care, and create little stories with it every day.

My little one was so excited about the baby. She loved putting baby in the, very well made, highchair and feeding baby and giving baby the bottle. You even can "change" the little diaper. The Skipper Babysitter toy is great for any Barbie loving child or little one who loves playing with baby dolls. My older one really loves Skippers cool purple highlights.

My daughter played for hours, creating different stories for the doll and baby. Good quality! The accessories are sturdy but tiny, easy to get lost. Be careful of you have a little girl. We especially loved the vibrant purple hair on the Barbie, gives her a fun, modern touch that makes her stand out from other dolls. Cool design feature: the angled left arm, which allows Barbie to cradle the baby naturally, making the interactions feel much more realistic.

I would say the loose pieces may be a bit small for the recommended 3 year age group. The included baby is very cute and can be held by the Skipper doll, the baby is lacking clothing which would’ve made this set better. The larger dolls fixed arm is nice for the play-set aspect but an odd position for role play with other doll sets. Overall the set is very cute, and will make for a nice addition to our playtime rotation.
