    Want to Love it - Will Keep Trying

    Chefman 2-Cup Rice Cooker is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It is an easy "set it, forget it" appliance, and it works perfectly for me as it only produces 2 cups of rice (enough for leftover for one-person). I have used it with jasmine rice and on occasion add either curry and/or broth as a water replacement. I have not used it for anything other than rice, but I do plan to. Here are the "OK" or negative comments: * The "measuring cup" recieved with the product is NOT accurate. So am I supposed to go off true measurements, or the cup?? (And yes, this may make a difference). * I am not sure if it is because I use jasmine rice, but my rice is not fluffy. It is either overcooked and mushy, or super sticky (which sometimes I dont mind). Result: inconsistent quality. * During the cooking process, the lid will become askew - I have to make sure to check on it periodically as this will alter the cooking process (...and maybe why, as previously mentioned, the cooking is inconsistent) I have used it several times and experiment with it to true to find the "sweet spot" and produce consistent results. Unfortunately, that is still a work in progress.
