4ct Sloth Sun Catcher Craft Activity Kit - Mondo Llama™

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I had a lot of fun with this one. The colors are so cheery and the little sloths are goofy as can be. We enjoyed being creative in our painting, and loved that this was the type of project you could hang up after! Compared to the wood projects by mondo, I think this one is a much better value since it comes with more pieces, and the price point is so good. Also love that you can display it so you arent displaying the side you painted on as the back side is a little more forgiving if your kids arent the best at perfectly staying in the lines. Really cute kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit caught my attention because of the cute sloths, the colors, and the price point. I figured that I would enjoy this craft just as much as my kids would. Unfortunately, I am not sure how this passes as a true “sun catcher” because the paint is opaque and lackluster. This seems like a cheap option for a suncatcher. I wish the paint was more clear so that it would shine in the sun. Instead, every paint steak is shown. My kids had fun painting these, but they are not as cute as anticipated. The kit does include the four styles, suction cups, string, paint and paint brush.

While it contains four sloths to decorate, it only has two brushes and one paint set so sharing amongst three or four would be quite hard. The suncatchers are a great size for a light crafting without having to be too skilled or exact in where you paint. My five year old and I loved making these to hang in the window.

They are fun to paint and creative for them, so conceptually is a really fun craft! But I don’t think the hanging mechanisms are super strong. These are plastic so I’m not concerned about them shattering, but my kids would be sad if the fell again!!

I, also, loved that there was four of them since I have two kids and everything needs to be even. The only thing is that the string was a little hard to tie on to the window cling thing and it doesnt really stay tied even if its double knotted.
