I am a huge SpongeBob fan, so I knew I had to have this the second I laid eyes on it! The attention to detail is so good and even better than I imagined. The paint is neat and the sculpt had no imperfections. My only complaints are that it was kinda difficult to put the top and bottom half together/connect the hinges. Also I would’ve liked to have a Squidward figure since his house is apart of the set. Or if we had Gary’s bowl or something for him it would feel like he is more “included” in this set. Lastly, I don’t like that neither SpongeBob nor Patrick can really hold the jellyfishing net. Their arms don’t move and it’s impossible to have the net look “functional”. Overall, I’m happy with this set, just upset with a few small details

Such a win for boys playsets

this toy has been open for ten minutes and four times i have already had to connect the spongebob house together again. the durability is terrible. my polly pockets from the 90s are in better condition.

I actually have no complaints other than I wish this toy would have been in stock at my local target. I originally purchased this for my son and he loves SpongeBob. Also he loves miniature toys so this was a win. I really hope they add ab expansion of SpongeBob x Polly Pocket with squidward, sandy, and Mr. krab because I would definitely purchase.

This compact is very nostalgic. Colors are vivid and beautiful and bring the houses to life. There’s a few changes I would make that would’ve changed my rating to 5 stars: if you’re gonna include Squidward’s house, then it’s only right to include Squidward as a figurine and not a sticker even if that means trading out Gary for him. Also the jelly fishing net is practically useless as it’s almost impossible for SpongeBob to hold it especially whilst wearing glasses. I would have much rather seen Gary’s snail food instead of the net. There’s also not much artistic detail to Gary’s shell which was disappointing. I would swap the treasure chest for SpongeBob’s alarm or a tub of Mayo for Patrick. Imagine Squidward’s house could also drop down and there was a place for Squidward to paint or play his clarinet? This compact had a lot of potential. Nonetheless it was nice to see this collab and I’m glad I purchased it.

Ok, I’m not going to lie. I got this for myself. Here I am an old fart who loves SpongeBob and his amigo Patrick. Ever since my kids watched this cartoon when they were kids, I thought it was such a clever cartoon and seeing them light up when they watched it made my day. So, its all memories for me. It’s my very own pop-up memory book. Lord knows how long I’ll have this memory. I can only hope this little thing keeps it fresh every time I see it.

Simply cute compact, love all the details and the direction Mattel is taking the brand.

Wish it included more characters, but overall this set is so fun and cute!
