Great for pets with a lot of hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good product for pet owners, especially if your pet sheds a lot. It can feel impossible to get all the hair off pet beds, blankets, etc - I’ve been frustrated many times at how time consuming it can be. This product just dissolves that hair in the wash! It did a great job at removing the hair from my cat’s bed and blanket. Awesome cleaner!

Do NOT Buy
Does not do what it is advertised to do. It says it will dissolve pet hair in the washer and to put 2 packs in if it’s a first time. I did that and absolutely nothing was dissolved. I put in 3 pet covered blankets in the washer and all the pet hair was around the drum and door of the washer.

Dissolves Pet Hair Somewhat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product did help get rid of some of the pet hair on my blankets but didn’t get rid of everything. I would have to run a couple of cycles for it to completely work. The product only works with front load washers so it might be an issue for some people. You also have to use 2 the first time you are washing that specific item and they’re only 3 satchets in the package so it is more of the expensive side.

It didn’t dissolve the hair — it turned it into hair balls!
⭐ 1 STAR — Did NOT dissolve the pet hair — it made the mess worse Absolutely terrible experience. I bought Vamoosh specifically because it claims to dissolve pet hair in the washing machine. Instead of dissolving the hair, it clumped it together into dozens of hair balls and left my washing machine covered in pet hair. After the cycle, I had to manually remove large clumps of hair from the drum and from around the rubber seal of my washing machine. The photos show exactly what was left behind. I have Golden Retrievers, so I understand that I deal with a significant amount of pet hair — which is exactly why I purchased a product marketed as a Pet Hair Dissolver. I did not expect perfection, but I certainly did not expect to have to clean piles of wet, compacted dog hair out of my washing machine afterward. For me, this did not “dissolve” the pet hair. It simply turned loose hair into clumps and created an additional mess to clean. I would not purchase it again.

Effective pet hair removal!

Pet hair is difficult to remove from clothes, blankets, the washer… everything. This product was effective at removing it from both the washer & clothing! There are three pouches inside the box, and it is a great value! I would purchase this again!

I’m excited to use this for our clothes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a much needed item for anyone with a pet especially one that sheds all the time or has seasonal shedding. I don’t understand how it works but I’m glad it does because we really needed some like it. It comes in plastic bags that are convenient to use individually. The only thing that’s confusing is the tip says use 2 sachets per wash but it comes with 3 so it doesn’t divide evenly.

Effective cat hair remover!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Vamoosh pet hair remover on two fur covered cat beds. I have a top loading washer and used the sanitize cycle with the hottest water temperature available along with two packets of vamoosh and detergent. Approximately 90 percent of the cat hair was removed with no lingering residue within the drum. The product definitely helped and I would purchase it again for future washings of fur covered items.

Per Hair Dissolver for Bedding
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried a product like this, but having a dog, a cat and a rabbit means we encounter a lot of pet hair. The instructions say to use two sachets for the first wash of the item. I washed a comforter that gets hairy because my dog sleeps on it, in the wash. I first added the sachets, and then the laundry. After I dried the bedding, it appeared as though it did break the hair down and there wasn’t leftover residue in my washer. I want to try this on more blankets I have that are “pet hairy”.

This completely cleaned all hair out of our washer-I was shocked. I will absolutely be buying this again in the future because this definitely did its job with cleaning our washer!

I had just about given up until I tried the Vamoosh Pet Hair Dissolver for Pet Laundry. I use this on their towels and blankets or anything that has heavy hair saturation and the majority of the hair actually disappears- not in the lint trap or filter at all! Very happy with the results and will definitely re-purchase.

Great product that works !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We don’t have pets but most of our friends do and whenever we visit them which happens quite often every few days and we end up coming back with our clothes full of pet hair. But when we discovered this product and gave it a try it did really good. Couldn’t find any of the pet hair either on clothes or in the washer. I was a little worried about buildup but that won’t be the case with the help of this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the Vamoosh Pet Hair Dissolver on some pillows and blankets that my cat likes to lay on. When I opened the packet, it smelled absolutely amazing. I was happy that after the load was finished that smell did transfer to the laundry and it all smelled fantastic. Unfortunately, the laundry still had quite a bit of cat hair on it, so it doesn’t seem like it worked very well and left me disappointed.

Peace of mind clean and hair free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 cats, I sleep alone, so yes they are allowed in my bed. I was excited to try this pet hair dissolving product. Having a front loader which uses alot less water, I always wondered how clean my clothes really got. I used this on my bedding, pet towel and pillow cases my cats lay on. The first thing I noticed when removing the wet clothes out of the washer was that there wasnt any hair buildup on the rubber edges of my washer like there usually is. Upon inspection after drying, pet hair was not on any of my freshly cleaned items. Thats a win and satisfaction knowing my clothes are indeed clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vamoosh pet hair dissolver is an innovative product. I’ve never heard of something like this before. The product gets put in the washer and is very fine granules. It smells clean and fresh. When my laundry came out, I think it had less pet hair but it is hard to say. I am going to continue using it in the future. I have 2 cats at home and their hair gets all over our clothes. This product is very promising!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased Vamoosh pet hair dissolver, which helps break down pet hair on bedding and in the washing machine. This was easy to use. It came in three packages and you just added it to your washing machine in the dispenser. As far as breaking down pet hair, I’m not seeing that it did anything. I do have a very furry dog. She is a brindle golden retriever so she has long fur. She likes to get on the furniture so I have those covered with fleece type blankets. I shake them out before I wash them to try to get some of the excess fur off and then will throw them in the washer. I did a bigger blanket and a smaller blanket. They came out clean and smell nice. That could be because of my detergent and softener. I did not see a lot of fur on the blankets; however, it was all in the washing machine. I knew that it would not get rid of the pet hair so I don’t know what type of breaking down this is really supposed to do. As you can see, I had a quite a bit left in the washer.

There was a good bit of hair left in the machine, so I am not sure it dissolved it but it removed it from the items. I don’t love that you have to use a long, hot water cycle to really have it be effective. Overall, not bad, will use again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works great on surface hair. I washed 3 blankets with pet hair. The first blanket was a comforter style and all the hair was removed. The other two were fleece and it helped but didn't get all the hair. I believe that with continued use that it would eventually remove the stuck meshed in pet hair. I also believe if you started using this product on a brand new blanket that it would keep it clean based on the results. I also recommend dissolving it in the water or not putting it directly on the blankets or bedding. One of the blankets came out with some discoloration where I poured the product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Husky who sheds all the time and I washed her bedding with this stuff. It did a decent job. I wouldn't say it was perfect but I think it did an okay job overall. It had significantly less hair on it coming out of the washer. The scent is not very pleasant probably because it has hair dissolving stuff in it. Also it only has 3 packets which would only last 3 washes. A bit pricey for what you get.

My dog has thin, short fur, so it was a little challenging to to tell just how well the dissolver worked. I’ll definitely use the remaining packet of powder, but based on my experience, it may be more beneficial for households with pets that have thicker, longer, or more noticeable shedding!
