Works really well on pet hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have four cats so naturally there’s cat hair all over the place. This box comes with three packets, but it’s recommended to use two packets if something has a lot of hair on it. I grabbed some blankets that our cats lay on and threw two packets of powder in the washer and was pleasantly surprised that they came out looking so much better and there werent clumps of hair all over my washer

Smells amazing and appears to be effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We don’t have pets, but our family members whom we visit often do, and we often come home with clothes covered in pet hair. I was worried that this might build up in our washing machine and cause odors and clogging, so when I discovered this product I decided to use it preventatively to dissolve any pet hairs before they accumulate. It has been effective so far at treating the amount of hair that we are dealing with. The scent smells very clean and refreshing. I would purchase again.

Front Load Washers Only!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will admit that I missed the part that said front load washers only and still used it in my top loader. I felt that this product worked, but not as great as I had hoped but I am guessing it’s because I don’t have a front load washer. Either way, there was less hair than usual when I wash all of the dog bedding. The product itself was easy to use—open the pack and sprinkle it in and wash with detergent as normal.

Great dog hair remover from the washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just used this dog hair remover in my washing machine. It suggests to use two packets, but I use just one to see exactly how it would work. I have massively shedding dogs, so you could imagine how much dog hair I actually have in my laundry. I am very pleased with this that it has truly worked with just one package. The scent is very nice. It is just a nice clean scent. I will be using this, probably every couple of weeks in my washing machine due to the amount of dog hair that I have. Give it a try! You will like it.

Helps prevent clogs in washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several ling hsir cats and im constantly trying to wash their bedding to help with cat odors. I tried this in my wash of cat bedding and was pleased to see less balled up of hair clumps in the drain area and less hair attached to the koi bedding itself after washing. Regular use will keep it from replacing filters less often. I like that the scent is pleasant and not strong.

Pet hair cleaner - FRONT LOAD ONLY
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the product but found out after using it that it isn’t designed for top loader washing machines. This isn’t clearly labeled on the front of the box but is explicitly called out in the instructions. It needs the water at an extreme temperature to work effective. I still feel it was a good additive to my pet laundry load but not sure it is effective at breaking down the pet hair on my top loader. It does have a good scent and is easy to use, just add a packet and your regular laundry detergent.

Pet hair laundry dissolver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is pet hair dissolver that is used for breaking down pet hair on bedding or laundry in the washing machine. This package contains three packets of dissolvable Cleaner. This is for use on front load washers only and for pet hair laundry. You use this in conjunction with your normal detergent and run on the hottest cycle. I have a shorthaired dog and it did seem to remove the pet hair from the laundry.

Effective pet hair dissolver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product to try to alleviate some of the dog hair that is taking over my house and laundry! I used two packages as directed when I washed some throw blankets and they came out smelling fresh and hair free! I didn’t love that the directions required two packages- especially since there are 3 in a box. Next time will try with just 1 and see if it is equally as effective.

Helpful but Not a Miracle Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our pets (1 cat and 1 dog) shed so bad every spring. I wash their bedding weekly and run a “tub clean” cycle after because there’s always hair stuck to the washing machine tub sides. I was hoping this would eliminate that buildup and extend the life of my washing machine. I used 2 packets as directed and it was an improvement but not a miracle. The tub still needed wiping down and I still ran a second tub clean cycle. Going forward, I think I’ll use this once a month during a tub clean cycle just to help tackle the machine buildup. I’ll keep using it but I don’t think it made enough of a difference that I’ll recommend it to my friends.

Better than other methods
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this vamoosh pet hair dissolver. I am always covered in dog hair so any improvement was welcomed. It did a great job at getting rid of the hair on towels I use for my dog. There was definitely less hair in the lint trap as well. I wish they came with a larger amount since the first time you are supposed to use two.

A good washing machine cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a good cleaner for any washing machine whether or not you have pets. I noticed a small amount of Improvement with less pet hair. I do wonder if it is more abrasive on the clothing long-term. I don’t see a difference in one load. I think that it will be a good general cleaner whether you have a pet or not as the drum definitely looked cleaner and shiny after I ran it in the clean cycle. I was a little disappointed that it’s only three packs.

Did not work as expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not wash my dogs bedding in my washing machine because I’m worried the hair will lessen the life of the appliance. Instead, I take it to the laundromat and it can be a pricey visit. When I saw Vamoosh Pet Hair dissolver, I thought this is exactly what I need to save time and money going to the laundromat. I used two packets as instructed and unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. There was a ton of hair in my washing machine and dryer. I did like that the dog blankets came out smelling fresh but the hair did not dissolve.

Just ok, was expecting more
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to trying out this pet hair dissolver, as our Aussie/cattle dog mix is a heavy shedder! Her bedding is constantly covered in hair and it’s hard to get it all out of the washer after we wash it. I followed the instructions for this and the amount of hair left on the blanket and in the washer was a smaller amount than usual, but unfortunately not a dramatic change.

Impressive compared to previous methods I’ve tried
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such an exciting product! As a dog owner my black clothes tend to be covered in dog hair. I’ve had this blanket I couldn’t use any more because it was covered with dog hair, imagine my “after” picture with 10 times more hair, so it was the first thing I wanted to try. It really dissolved a bunch of the dog hair off! Not completely perfect but I’ve washed it so many times and this is the most I’ve EVER seen come off. My only complaint is that I wish more than 3 pouches came in a box, especially since it’s recommended to use 2 pouches on the first wash, but the price is fair.

Laundry Pet Hair Dissolver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the idea of this product because we have a cat that is older and sleeps a lot. She sheds and there is always a ton of fur on thr blanket she sleeps on. I added this powder to a regular wash of the blanket and it really helped clean it all off while also keeping my actual washing machine clean.

Helpful product for pet owners or pet lovers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a pet household (3 dogs and 1 cat), the Vamoosh Pet Hair Dissolver is a laundry must for our household because every where you look there’s pet hair- clothes, bedding, the floor, on you, shoes, etc. Washing our bedding with the Vamoosh made a noticeable difference - usually our lint trap needs to be cleaned at least twice with one load and with the Vamoosh it was only needed to be cleaned once and it was at least 70 percent full compared to normal. The price point for the 3 pack box is very fair and I appreciate that the scent is not “overly scented” since I have scent triggered migraines. I’ll definitely look at adding this to our monthly cleaning list as long as this keeps the pet fur at bay.

Cleans up laundry machine well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these specifically to help clean up our washing machine buildup internally from all the pet hair that has got to be in it. We have several hair dogs Boston terrier, pitbull, etc and therefore those hairs get so deep into everything. I immediately after using it noticed that our closed seemed to come cleaner and didn’t have to do the extra rinse anymore to get the detergent all the way out and of course less hair after washing dog beds and such. Great product and I love to use it to keep my machine running better! As you can see each packet is decent sized and goes right into the machine or your detergent drawer and then it suds up pretty well inside the machine.

Not sure if it worked but machine is cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These seem to be very reasonably priced so I decided to try them out. I chose to use it in a load with just towels as I was worried it might bleach any clothing items I put in the machine. I'm not sure if it did much, but my laundry was free of per hair and the machine did look cleaner. It would be worth it to give it a try

Pleasant smell works ok.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product as I have two cats at home and are blankets can get pretty hairy we have one orange cat and a calico cat. I added our blankets to the laundry and added one packet of the pet hair laundry dissolver. I did notice a difference when they were washed that there was less pet hair and I could tell because I checked the dryer lint after they were done and there was less hair in there than when I normally wash my blankets.

Unique and helpful for pet lovers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has three dogs-two of which shed profusely. When I bathe them I always wash their bedding along with the towels I used to dry them and the washer is so full of hair I have to run a cleaning cycle on it. Between them and our five children, our washer takes a beating. This is such a great and effective product. I enjoy the light scent and love how there is no bleach or harsh chemicals so I can feel good about using it too. The price is reasonable at about the same price as I pay for regular washer cleaner. It does state that it is only for front loading and not top loading washing machines though so be aware of that.
