Summer Craft Birdhouse Painting Kit - Mondo Llama™

Loved this. We had so much fun painting these and hanging them up. We had birds living in them within a few days. HOWEVER the rain came and they fell apart! Whatever they’re put together with isn’t strong and can’t withstand water. They all fell apart :( we were able to glue some back together with wood glue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving the craft sets from Mondo Llama, and so are my kids! They were thrilled to see birdhouses to paint. This set comes with two small paint brushes and a lovely set of pastel colors which are perfect for spring. The paint was a little messy when I opened up the lids but the consistency is great for painting with it. Lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very well made craft and very fun for the kids and grownups alike. Paint pods are provided and paint brushes. The paint is very opaque and quick drying, one or two layers is all it takes. There’s a little opening to the bird house on the bottom. It was very fun to do this, I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Mondo Llama Summer Craft Birdhouse Painting Kit to work on during our The Girls Are Home Alone weekend. I was concerned when I took the kit out of the box, because the paint and brushes were nowhere to be found. They are stored inside the box, accessible through the door at the bottom. All of the paints were usable, and the brushes are decent quality. The pink paint covered in two coats,, but the white paint needs a third coat. My photo shows two coats of white paint, one coat ofnpink. The skinny brush worked well inside the windows and in crevices. I have not hung it outside yet, but I plan to polyurethane / clearcoat it first.

Any bird would love to call this birdhouse home! Everything you need is included with this kit - the birdhouse, the paint, and the paintbrushes. This would honestly be fun for a afternoon or party with friends or family!

Cute and fun for kids to paint, doesn’t last outside if it rains. Whole thing fell apart after a light rain hit them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let your little one use their creativity to paint this cute birdhouse! My little thought that it was fun that it was shaped like an actual house. There's a hatch on the bottom that opens and contains the paint and two paint brushes. This hatch will also be convenient for cleaning out the birdhouse after nests have been made in it for the following season. There is a string on top of the birdhouse for hanging it from a tree.
