    Descent weight. Appears Wax covered paper is the material used over a metal frame. The logo on the front is off putting. This could have been a fun piece.

    Caveat emptor. The check side includes Goody’s name as well as that of Mackenzie-Childs (I thought that foolishness was just the overwrap on the packaging.) Come on! The check alone should convey that it’s Mackenzie-Child’s, and Goody should be confident enough (as was Wet with their collab brushes) to leave its name off the product. I’m not a fan of the print on the other side, either. It should have been check on both. Still, I would have accepted the verso had it not been for the brands blazened on the front. Mine are going back, and that’s probably why my previously sold-out store has them back in stock. Do better—both of you!
