[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has high blood pressure and his doctor recommended that he cut down on salt intake. I saw this product and figured we would give it a try. It works well at flavoring our food and had helped us to use less salt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Morton Salt substitute to see how this compared to normal table salt. The flavor and texture are basically the same as normal sodium chloride table salt. In recipes it is a easy substitute and seems to work the same in baking as well. The shaker is solid, although the section on the top you press out to access the salt is not easy to remove. Apart for that, a nice addition to my pantry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Salt Substitute from Morton. It tastes great and it's been hard to tell the difference from using regular salt when cooking. This would be great for those looking to eliminate or cut down salt from their diet. My family hasn't even been able to tell the difference so that's a win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Salt Substitute Shaker is a really great salt substitute. It actually tastes just like salt without having all of the bad salt side effects. I can eat as much of this as I want and it tastes delicious. I recommend this salt substitute for anyone that has to watch their salt intake as well as for those that don't. You won't even know the difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent substitute for salt. It's sodium free but still gives that salty flavor I love so much. It also avoids an issue I've had with other salt substitutes, all of which seemed to have texture problems in recipes. There is no such issue here. I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can understand why you would want to switch to this if you are concerned about reducing sodium intake and bloat. I do have issues with bloating from salty foods, and I love salty foods. I thought this would be good, but it’s only OK. Not enough to make me want to switch. The taste is all right, but I don’t really like the aftertaste. I don’t think it’s something I could get used to. I would rather work on reducing my sodium intake altogether. Try it off you like, but it’s not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a friend who I kid you not keeps a salt shaker in his car with him at all times just in case. Salts are healthy and essential for you but there is such a thing as too much and he far surpasses this level. I saw the Morton Salt Substitute and thought I would give it a try. There is no detectable difference in taste between this product and real table salt! I have it to my friend with the salt addiction and he agrees! Life changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Morton Salt Substitute Shaker provides you with a salty flavor without the issues sodium can cause some people (swelling, high BP, etc.). This product also provides potassium. I've used the salt substitute on meats and vegetables when cooking with great results every time. This is another great product from Morton.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually very sparse with using salt in my cooking, but this Morton Salt Substitute Shaker is a great alternative to use in my cooking. I tried this product on its own to do a comparison to regular salt and it did not taste good (whereas I like the taste of regular salt on its own). But, honestly, we don't typically eat salt on its own, so that comparison probably doesn't mean much. However, in cooking, this salt substitute is great for those who are trying to eliminate unnecessary salt from their diet. Overall, I'll definitely continue using this while cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally something for those on a low sodium diet. You can't ask for a more trusted name in a salt substitute brand. I'm glad Morton is entering this space. If I can get the great Morton salt taste (or even close to it) without the sodium, why wouldn't I?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this and prefer it to regular salt. Prevents puffed up ankles and fingers and the potassium is good for us. I believe this is a prodcut many Americans should consider. This will be the only one I will be purchasing in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is been a nice thing to put on my food but it certainly not salt. It’s easy to shake and it does the job but I really prefer a heavy kosher salt. I guess if you need to cut your salt intake this would be a nice choice but for me I prefer the real thing.
