Don't buy this

Don't buy this. The last two pieces are wrong and don't line up with the holes. You need an electric drill to put it together and would need to drill new holes in the last two pieces for it to be assembled.

This is the worse bookcase I have ever purchased from Target. The wood is so poor that when you put it together the screws wouldn't stay in the wood. Very disappointing. Do not purchase this item.

Ordered two bookshelves- one came in a severely damaged box and the pieces were scratched. Opened the box and prepared to build the bookcase only to find that the incorrect pieces were in the box and we were not given all the materials to build the shelf.

Incredibly cheap

Do not waste your time on this. Silly me for not reading the reviews first, a mistake I do not normally make. It’s so cheap, the back paneling barely better than paper and it’s already cracked during assembly. A complete hassle to put together. Target, why do you sell such junk??

Hopefully you're handy...

I was super bummed by this product. I should have returned it, but I already had it put together until the final step. In the final step none of the holes lined up, and luckily I’m handy! I had to redrill holes to make it work. I guess you get what you pay for.

I've bought 5 of these.

I've bought 5 of these because they work fine for me. They are not high quality furniture so keep your expectations low. You will need patience when assembling it but it all works out if you take your time. All you'll need is a phillips screwdriver and an electric screwdriver helps. Once you get it assembled it's fine.

Poorly constructed

This was total garbage. Assembly was complicated and the pieces didn't fit together as they should. Holes for washers weren't big enough, which resulted in the laminate cracking. Returned it because we couldn't get it fully assembled. Appreciate the great customer service allowing us to return it partially assembled.
