Nature Valley Crunchy Oats 'N Dark Chocolate Granola Bars - 12ct/8.94oz

I ate Nature Valley granola bars nearly every day for 15 years, but I can't do it anymore. Every box I get tastes bland, stale, and gross. I've tried different stores, different retailers, and it's all the same. Nasty. Something changed.

What has happened to this bar? This has been part of my breakfast choices for 12 years. My latest purchases taste like I am eating ground glass! Awful texture! Not willing to purchase again!

These are my favorite I've been eating them for a while now, I gave them only 4 stars however because I noticed literally from one week to another that the bars got smaller yet again while the price gets higher. It's absolutely insane

So dissapointed! These granola bars were such a treat. I bought a box today and sadly these are NOT the same granola bar they once were. It doesn’t taste or look like chocolate anymore. In fact, I thought there was a mess up at the factory and came here to message quality when I saw all these reviews that agree the recipe is no longer the same. I’m shocked they are shelved as they taste like plain granola. I’ve eaten Nature Valley for 30 years, Really surprised at this.

I really love the granola bar so much because I really loved the chocolatey richness and it made me feel so satisfied. Make 24 bars if you want to.

These are tasty but messy to eat if you're on the go. The oats make it a more healthy snack and just the right amount of chocolate.

I really like them, but they come in too small of packages. they need to come in like a 40 pack.

These actually used to be chocolatey. Now they're super bland and don't even have chocolate pieces as advertised! Not a single one. Not even sure how they get away with calling them oats and chocolate when there isn't a trace. Don't know when this changed but it's pretty bad and I won't buy them again.

Nature Valley really hit it with the taste and freshness of their bars. They're so convenient for on the go snacking. As a breastfeeding mom, im always hungry and always looking for something easy so I can tend to my baby and nurture myself. These are awesome!

When I want something healthy and earthy with a little added sweetness, but I'm not feeling the overly sweet flavors at the moment, I choose this variety. They are one of my favorite sweet, savory, and superbly crunchy snacks. I bring with me when I am out and about or just need a snack while I am chilling at home. Their packaging keeps them perfectly crunchy and fresh. The price is a great value for such a tasty, healthy, craving-controlling snack. I, absolutely love this brand and their products. They meet the mark for me in quality, taste, health, convenience, and price. Five stars from me all day!!!

I absolutely love these granola bars! They are by far my favorite because of the great taste the delicious crunch and the tasty chocolate chips! The best thing is that my nutritionist recommended them to me. I like to keep them in the freezer which I think enhances the taste!

One of my favorites. But there could be more cocoa, for a more chocolaty flavor. I know the price of cocoa is going up due to climate and disease in Africa cocoa growing areas, but please try. I can't see anyone objecting to more chocolate.

If the original nature valley granola bars weren’t yummy already the chocolate granola bars knock it out of the park! I bought them every time after when going on grocery runs. A must try for any chocolate lover.

Recipe change REALLY disappointing. Went from tasty & well-balanced to bland & soggy. Wouldn't know it was supposed to have chocolate in it except I used to buy them a lot. I won't anymore.

Tasty and super crunchy! Not too sweet. The packaging is convenient for on-the-go snacking, and they stay fresh for a long time. I also think they offer great value for the price.

Oats and Dark Chocolate Nature Valley Bars are very good. They are a great snack.

This used to be my favorite granola bar! My comfort snack, if you will. However, like other customers have noticed, the formula has changed completely. There's no longer dark chocolate pieces and the crispy crunch has been softened. The change is so significant that I checked the wrapper and box to make sure I got the right flavor at the store. The new flavor is similar to the sugared nuts you get in a paper cone at the fair. This might be appealing to some people but it should be it's own separate flavor. And if the formula is changed, it should be advertised on the product!! That way customers can decide if they want to try something new. I'm very sad to have 2 boxes that I've opened to try and see if they were both the new formula. Also, this is the only Nature Valley product my family eats. So we'll be moving on to something else.
