Dawn Ultra is a mainstay in my household and is completely irreplaceable, not only is it affordable but it’s strong, smells great and a little goes a long way! If it’s safe on ducks then it’s safe enough for me too!

Such a good dish detergent! I have used this kind for as long as I could remember! I also use a little in my laundry from time to time, helps with my husbands dirty work clothes! It’s afffordable and it works, can’t beat it!

Had been the best but the new scent is overpowering. I reached out to customer care first because I assumed it had to be a manufacturing error but then when I went to buy I replacement I found they're all like that now. I've used Dawn Original for many years and while the soap itself is effective, I can't use it anymore from the ridiculous amount of perfume. Makes me sneeze while doing the dishes, the whole house smells for at least half a day, and no matter how much I rinse out the dishcloth after, the hamper smells of it until the wash is done. I hope they have some sense and return to the old fragrance. And announce that they do, because I'll be using another brand until then. The rest of this bottle will have to go.

Great product of the dish washing. Down never disappoints me. The glassware or dish looks shiny after used it. I still can use it even I allergic for most of detergent.

I bought a new bottle of “original” dawn after my gallon jug ran out and INSTANTLY knew there was something HORRIBLY wrong with the smell. I thought I bought the wrong thing but after digging I realized the original dawn no longer exists. I literally couldn’t use it without gagging so in the trash it went. Not just the kitchen trash but all the way to the outside trash can. I wish there would have been an uprising about the scent change as much as the Cracker Barrel logo change.

Just bought a new bottle of Dawn Ultra, apparently the same one that I have always been buying. The new scent added to it is very strong and lingers on the dishes, especially anything plastic. The previous version did not do this. Very disappointing. I will throw this bottle out and will not buy again.

Dawn Dish Soap is my go-to for tackling tough grease and everyday cleaning. It cuts through messes quickly and leaves dishes sparkling clean. A little goes a long way, making it both effective and reliable. Not to mention - the scent is great too. Leaves my whole kitchen smelling fresh and clean.

At first I thought it was me, and then I went to the Internet and did a search for "have they changed the scent of Dawn Ultra". What a rabbit hole. I am not as scent sensitive as some, but I am scent sensitive, particularly when it comes to cleaning and personal care products. This may be the first "change in 10 years" but you are about to lose a significant portion of your loyal customer base who cannot abide the lingering, cloying, new scent. And, of course I've purchased a big bottle. This new scent is giving me headaches. I currently have the kitchen door and windows open in an effort to dissipate it. My stomach is churning. Why would you RUIN a product that was a staple for your customers. Never again. And, don't even suggest the "No Scent" version - I've sniffed it. Definitely not my idea of "no scent".

Dawn is a little pricier, it cuts grease better than any other A small amount goes a long way, smells fresh, and I love that it’s safe enough to use on wildlife. Great value

I have used Dawn for years and always loved it. It was one of the only dish soaps that did not have an overpowering scent. This new dawn is infused with a floral fragrance that lingers, regardless of how many times you rinse. Nothing is worse then drinking from a cup or cooking in a pan that smells of perfume. I might as well use laundry soap. It's terrible! I apologize for the 1 star, but it's how I honestly feel right now. I imagine it still cleans and cuts grease like the old formula, but I can't get past the perfume smell! Please go back to the old original scent.

The new scent is awful! I can smell and taste it on all my cooking ware and cups. They need to go back to the original scent that was NOT intense as the new one.

I love dawn but hate the new scent. Literally I don’t know why they changed it. It gives me a major headache every-time I’ve used it. If I’d known they were going to change the original scent I would have bought more. And it’s not only dawn every single dish soap and laundry detergent have horrible irritating fragrances. Horrible! And no your fragrance free one does not have the same cleaning power so that’s not an option for me. Everyone I know is complaining. Fix this problem don’t be like all the other brands that don’t listen to their customers.

Truly this is the only dish soap to use. It's a classic. I love the wildlife commercials and knowing this helps save wildlife after oil spills. And it's no surprise because this is truly the only dish soap that cuts throughout grease quickly and effectively on the first run. I tried lots of cheaper brands and natural alternatives but in the end Dawn is king (or queen). Nothing gets gross dishes squeaky clean like Dawn. I especially like the blue version because it is the best Dawn to spot treat stains before putting in the laundry. Extra win, extra value.

I love this and will use no other soap in my home it does is job and is a great value for the money smells great and help in oil spill disasters and anything in between

I love Dawn dish soap, that stuff will de grease anything, a staple in our home, I had a drop to my mop water, I clean my outside windows with it, it’s used daily in our home.

Great soap. Works really well. Package is convenient. Smells great and is a good price. Gets the tough stuff off easily enough, have not had any issues.

I love Dawn Original blue dish detergent liquid and use it for dishes, laundry and cleaning. I’ve found it superior to multiple other products. I recently purchased a new bottle and noted a change in the smell of the product. A sticker on the bottle states “New Clean Scent”. Detest the New Clean Scent, so much that I’m questioning my alternatives. Please go back to the classic original scent. I’m begging you!
