I bought this fan to replace an inexpensive bedroom fan I’ve been using. I wanted remote control and a wide range of fan speeds. The remote does a fine job of fan speed and sleep timer duration control but a buyer should know that the remote requires an unobstructed line of sight connection. The digital fan speed (1 - 99) sounds like it’s going to offer a range from barely on to full wind storm. It doesn’t. I expected the premium brushless DC motor to allow a much slower fan speed and a barely audible low speed capability. You will hear this fan even on its slowest speed ,

A very versatile fan with the 99 speeds & only draws .25 amps. We use it in our conversion van that has a solar panel system with a lithium ion phosphate battery bank.

My Vornado 5303 is the best for circulating the air in my room. I have a LOT of other fans in my room as well, but they are for different things. To me it sounds the best on 14, but other speeds are very quiet. Vintage fans are good, but this thing is very safe and uses way less power. I want another one because they're amazing! Thank you Vornado for producing my top favorite fans.

This fan is great at circulating the air but it makes more noise than I expected. I've been running it at half-speed and it's an unmistakable 'white noise' when sleeping. That could be a bonus for some people; it's neutral for me.

This is the second fan. Had to move around first one to much. If you design a window 2 fan LET ME KNOW. When i got the first fan was pleased at the size for the air flow, am sure no one else makes a fan that only uses 2 watts on slowest speed. Would have given 5 stars, but the " made in the USA" is not correct. found a tag on bottom of fan " made in china". I bought the first fan thinking it was made in USA. John52

I bought this in February after my Dyson fan died. Being physically handicapped a remote is a must, and I absolutely LOVE all of the speeds, because I get hot very easily. I am so glad I found this fan.

Prior to purchasing this fan I researched other Vornado models, different brands & read all customer’s reviews. I’m so pleased with this air circulator. We actually wanted one that put out different ranges of power & sound. We like to have “white noise” while sleeping & when this model is cranked up to 99 speed it fits that bill perfectly. The amount of air it moves is amazing. There are speed levels from 1 to 99. A perfect for level for every need or desire. It’s also very quiet at lower (but effective) speed levels. The REMOTE CONTROL is an absolute bonus!! I have not had any problems or issues with the remote whatsoever. I highly recommend this model unit to everyone.

This is my third Vornado. I have one in my living room, bedroom and now my workout space. With the remote control it's easy to have the exact breeze I need.

very happy. uses very little wattage esp. on low 5 speed is 2 watts. i am off-grid and leave this on all night. very good fan. quiet.

I bought two of these circulators and they are amazing. They are very powerful and even though the setting goes up to 99, I feel a nice breeze with mine at a level 7. I love the sound and the air movement in the room. The remote is an added bonus. Very pleased!!!

Not very powerful. And when it's on high, it can be loud. It will be fine for an office fan, but not really worth the high price tag.

I have tried a handful of desk fans over the years. This has been the quietest, yet simultaneously the strongest. The lowest setting is gentle enough to blow on me from right next to me without blowing me away (but still cooling me off). The fan also seems to be lasting, which is more than I can say for many fans.

This little fan is amazing! Small yet pumps out air clear across the room like there’s no tomorrow. Not to noisy, just a nice white noise. LOVE IT!

This fan is like no other on the market! It moves air and makes noise! It's a great sleeping fan! My first fan quit working after 4 years, I called the company and they are sending me a new fan! Great customer service!

These fans are perfect for off grid battery based power systems. They have a timer so you don't have to get out of bed to turn them off once you get nice and cool. The air volume is great. I have 3 in my cabin at the end of each bed. These have helped us survive North Carolina summers with out AC. Can't wait to see what Vornado will offer next!

Have used this for about a week. This tiny fan does wonders. Great for small rooms and quiet!

This is one great small fan. We liked the first one we purchased so much, we have bought two more. It has a good range of speeds AND a timer! It's a lightweight fan that is easy to move around. It's large enough to provide excellent air flow but small enough to fit into cramped spaces. We would give it 10 stars if we could!
