Easy to assemble, however def a two man to hang as the holes in the back have to line up to all 4 screws at the same time. It’s a line up n slip in, push down to grab, which was a pain in butt. I purchased anchor screws since the ones they came with I felt wouldn’t hold up. This size is perfect for what I needed in a small room, would be great for dorm room size, or any small space. The space I choose was behind a twin bed in between a window n lager wall. I wanted this just behind the bed as I felt would allow any guest to put things on the lower shelves if needed

Loved the design unfortunately is a very flimsy shelf. Attempted to hang with included screws and sheetrock hangers but not secure enough for a few pounds of things. Had to buy brackets to put Knick knacks on it

I like the shape of this shelf. It’s extremely easy to put it together BUT what a pain to put it up!! First of: the shelves are not secure. There is no way to secure them so as soon as you lift this, everything falls apart. Second, the screws and the anchors are such a cheap quality that they bent. THEY BENT as we were putting it on the wall. By all means, beware before buying this. Not worth the money.

This shelf was such a pain! Very easy to put together, but incredible difficult to hang. It has four holes in the back that you slide over screws that you anchor into the wall. For how heavy this shelf is by itself, I'm surprised there isn't a more sturdy hanging mechanism. The measurements between the holes to hang it are ridiculous, not even a normal number or fraction on a tape measure. When I finally got it measured and hung up, I was shocked it was straight and centered. I'm not sure how much weight it will actually hold or if it will stay in the wall, but I definitely wouldn't buy it again.

This was a nightmare to install level. The finish split in two places while attempting to slide the main supports onto the baby screws. I do not know what magic was used by others, who said it was easy, because it wasn’t, at all. This cannot be hung by one person. Don’t buy if you are looking to use for hard cover books as they will not fit upright. I have no confidence that this will stay on the wall as the screws are not the appropriate fasteners - this should have come with stronger brackets. I’m also hesitant to actually put anything, outside of a sock upon it. While it’s looks ok, I’m considering returning because of the aforementioned reasons, but if I do I will have to repair the four holes and paint. I am beyond peeved.

Horrible, my husband who is quite handy spent more than 3 hours trying to hang this item level before finally I insisted he quit and we return it. No matter what he tried it wouldn't hang level. Its flimsy and gives you no way to hang it in a straight manner. Now I have no shelf and a torn up wall! If I could give ease of installation a zero stars I would. Quality same. ZERO!

Great item. Unfortunately it is larger than I expected.

I love this product. I got it quickly, fit it together easily, and got it up on the wall! I took some time to measure out the screws and I used my own anchors I purchased separately (they screw into the wall themselves separately from the screw), but with the measurements done properly it fit onto the wall like a glove. I even was able to do it all myself and I am a fairly weak, non-construction experienced person

It fell off the wall and broke. The four screws are not enough to hold the heavy shelf. It should come with brackets

Very nice shelf and cool looking, but putting it on the wall was very tough. The shelf is heavy and trying to put it into four screws at the same time was a challenge. Wish they could come up with a better way to hook it up to the wall. If it can be hook up first then the shelves go in, that would be so much easier.....but with this one you have to assemble the whole shelf and then pick it up and try to hook it to the wall....not easy due to the heavy weight. Nice looking shelf though and daughter loves it. I wouldn't put anything heavy on it either because the four screws don't seem that strong to withstand the weight.

I really like this shelving unit. Now that it is on my wall, it looks fabulous and is just what I wanted. However, to repeat what others have said, it was REALLY HARD to put up. We ended up using our own hardware as what was provided was too flimsy, and even though we measured twice and cut once, as they say, we didn't get it right and the shelf is hanging only at three points, not four. So, good luck getting it up - but once it's up, it's very, very nice.

way bigger than I anticipated....will be returning the item to the store. Probably nice for a large home than ours but it just overwhelmed the room we were going to use it in.

Love this shelf unit! Super easy to put together (no screws!) and is very solid and beautiful once it's on the wall. But DEFINITELY don't even try to use the four cheap drywall anchors provided. They just disappear into the wall, taking the screws with them! But for under two bucks at Home Depot you can solve the problem.

Just received this shelf and began to hang it. Before buying these shelves ask yourself this question: How difficult can it be to drill two holes in my wall 15.28" apart? Answer: Very freaking difficult. The "picture only" directions show the wall anchor spacing creates a rectangle 15.28" wide x 26.58" tall. Maybe Norm Abrams from This Old House could pull that off freehand, but I couldn't. The one thing that would have made this difficult chore much more simple? Have the manufacturer include a paper template that can be taped to the wall and used as a guide to drill the anchor holes. I ended up assembling the shelf, laying it on the ground (with unfinished side up) and taping pieces of paper together that I then laid over the shelf to make my own drilling template. What a pain in the butt this thing is. Oh, and how about stating what size drill bit to use for the wall anchors as well? Incredibly frustrating. It takes less than five minutes to unpack and assemble the shelves then half a day to hang the stupid thing.

This is a good size shelving unit and it is very good looking. We'll made, but a little touchy to install due to its weight. Should probably have two people to hang it unless you are really strong. All in all, I would definitely recommend this item.

We purchased two of these shelves for our living room wall but had to return them the first time as they had defects. Now that we have been able to get them on the wall, I love the look and really enjoy the design! I had to only give this three stars for several reasons: 1) the first time we ordered, one of the boxes was missing half the pieces and the other had several broken pieces. Hauling these boxes to the store to return was no picnic, but the return process was simple and painless once we got to the local Target. 2) these shelves are very cheap materials (not that I expected much nicer for the price) but the real issue was in the cheap anchors - they wouldn't quite stay in the wall at first and created a gap between the wall and the shelves which we fixed with a small nail through the top of the shelves. 3) these were a pain in the you-know-what to put together - you have to fully measure everything out on the wall, put in the anchors and screws, and then lift the entirety of the shelves up and hang it on the wall. But again, once all was said and done, I'm really pleased with the results. We are utilizing the shelves to house gaming figurines and it looks great!
