I enjoyed that this protein mix wasn’t chalky or heavy like other protein powders are. I served my drink with ice for a sweet and refreshing drink, which was perfect for a warm summer day. I also tried blending with strawberries and blueberries to make a yummy tropical smoothie. I like that this protein mix contain 20 g of protein, which made me reach my protein goals quickly. I did not have any issues with graininess. This is the first time I’ve tried this brand and I’m eager to try different flavors.

This was very easy to mix by shaking it. At first it looks foamy but as it sits, it becomes clear. It has a very good tropical punch flavor with pineapple being the dominant flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will first say that the critical instruction on the Isopure Clear Protein Powder bottle to “shake, not stir” is small, not emphasized, and not in an intuitive place for a first-time protein powder user. I missed it the first time I tried the product. However, I will set that aside for the overall review, which is about my trial of the correct configuration of the powder. Even as a dry powder, this product was sticky and messy, though I was able to pour it well using the measuring cup; this cup was a key convenience feature. After I poured it into a filled water bottle and secured the lid, I shook it, and it took a great deal of shaking to be drinkable. Even after at least 30 seconds of shaking, there were still visible clumps in the water that did not dissolve with further shaking. When I drank the mixture, I could feel the uncomfortable texture of those clumps - it felt like drinking pieces of dirt. The taste, which was supposed to be tropical fruit, was sharp, acidic, and somewhat chemical. I found myself not wanting to take time out of my day to make the drink because I didn’t want the taste to ruin any of my meals. I could barely drink more than a few sips of it. I suppose one could become accustomed to it, but I could not. I ended up disposing of most of it, and I would not buy it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to mix this in my cocktail shaker with a bottle of spring water since I don't have a dedicated shaker bottle. It mixed super well and got pretty foamy but the foam went away fairly fast which was convenient. The taste was surprisingly crisp and refreshing with a slight punch from the citric acid. My one critique is more of a personal opinion, I don't love the taste of stevia based sweeteners and would have preferred monk fruit but it was still very good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Froyo with an extra 20 grams of protein, FOR SURE! This clear protein powder added such a unique taste to the froyo. It mixed well with the other fruits and yogurt allowing great consistency and no noticeable grittiness. There was a bit of an aftertaste, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall a great add in for extra protein!

It definitely matches the advertisement and mixes clear instead of thick and creamy like other protein shakes and the flavor is lighter which I actually appreciate. I mixed mine with a little over 14 oz of water in a blender bottle and it did mix easily. Unfortunately there was a weird aftertaste that I couldn’t get past and because of that i probably won’t be buying this again. If you prefer a lighter protein drink over milky shakes, you still might enjoy this more thank I did.

It tastes more like a sports drink than a traditional protein shake, which makes it easier to drink. The Tropical Punch flavor is refreshing, slightly sweet, and doesn’t have the overpowering artificial aftertaste that many protein products have.

The drink is refreshing and it gives you proteins that your body needs. No carbs and no sugars perfect fire those on low calories and no sugar diets. I really enjoy it. This flavor is delicious. I enjoy it on the days that I fast, while walking, on the go or when I need extra protein.

It is incredibly light and refreshing, making is obsoluty perfect to drink on a hot, sunny days. The tropical pounch flavor is delicius and has the perfect amount of sweetness. Tarte aftertaste but that was probably due to the flavor I got or maybe the sweetener in it. I would try this again in another flavor.

One family member said it didn’t have enough flavor so I added a bit more powder but then another family said a little butter. No one really wanted to finish it but with 20 grams of protein they think it would them full if they got used ice water or ice in a blender.

It isn’t thick at all and mixed right into water without any issues. I liked the taste, it was a bit tart, but really good.

There were no grainy bits/powder left at the bottom of the drink. It’s a large amount of servings in the tub so it should last a while!
